Don't know anything about Al Hendrickson Toyota. My new car was located by a local auto broker and I worked through them to have the car delivered to me in Nevada. Everything seems to have worked ou My new car was located by a local auto broker and I worked through them to have the car delivered to me in Nevada. Everything seems to have worked out fine so far, so I have no gripes at all about Hendrickson Toyota. Glad to have the car I wanted! More

I wish I could give this dealership 0 stars. On September 19, 2024, we leased a 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport under a 36-month agreement at $549.99 per month, with a total mileage allowance o On September 19, 2024, we leased a 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport under a 36-month agreement at $549.99 per month, with a total mileage allowance of 36,000 miles. As part of the deal, we traded in our 2023 Lexus GX 460, which was appraised at $55,000. At the time, the payoff amount for the Lexus was $50,789. The dealership agreed to allocate $2,546 from the trade-in value as a down payment for the Tacoma and issue a check for the remaining balance. After completing the initial paperwork and taking possession of the Tacoma, the dealership contacted us a week later, demanding that we re-sign the documents. We were told that the Lexus payoff would not be processed unless we complied. Despite the pressure and inconvenience, we re-signed the necessary documents on October 11, 2024, after Lexus charged us for the monthly payment due to the delay in payoff. On October 25, the finance manager confirmed that all paperwork was finalized and instructed us to begin making payments for the Tacoma. However, on November 1, the same finance manager informed us that the accounting department was just beginning to process the Lexus payoff and our refund check. We finally received the refund check on November 11, 2024—nearly two months after the lease began. Upon contacting Lexus on November 11, we learned that the vehicle payoff had still not been processed. Under Florida law, dealerships are required to pay off trade-in vehicles within 10 business days, a deadline this dealership has far exceeded, even after the updated paperwork was signed. More

We went back to Al Hendrickson on Saturday after going last month and buying a 2023 Corolla SE 9,000 miles GOLD certified cash for my daughter . Michael Joseph the sales guy helped us out and was great . last month and buying a 2023 Corolla SE 9,000 miles GOLD certified cash for my daughter . Michael Joseph the sales guy helped us out and was great . Made the process smooth and we were in and out in 3 hours. We show up to Al Hendrickson at 9:45am this past Saturday to trade in and buy a Tacoma and didn’t get home until 8pm. We missed my daughter’s Homecoming prep and pictures . Michael takes us around hustling in that 100-degree Florida sun, back and forth showing us numerous Tacomas. We find a 2023 Tacoma w/ 6100 miles we liked. We sit down go back and forth a couple times then he sits me w/ a manager named Andres (Sao Paolo, Brazil on name tag). We talk a bit back and forth and agree on an out the door price for the 2023 white Tacoma 6100 miles GOLD certified w/ trade and some floor mats that Andres signed for . I shake hands w/ both Michael and Andres and we go back to Michaels cubicle. Michael and I went to his desk sat down and signed a bunch of paperwork . Sometime later around 45 minutes I approached Michael and asked if everything is ok . He replied “everything is fine, they are just fixing a stock #”. I asked if I should put the vehicle under my insurance he replied, “yes go ahead”. I put the Tacoma under my GEICO policy. Then sometime layer maybe an hour some manager approached (don’t know his name but he’s new) and said they can’t gold certify the vehicle because it has an open recall. I told him to fix the recall and gold certify it. He replied “Toyota doesn’t have a remedy” How can Toyota not have a recall remedy. I pulled the recall code from the Carfax and ran it in the Toyota system . I’ve attached the Toyota REMEDY that the manager said doesn’t exist. It’s literally inspecting and tightening 4 bolts. I showed him the Toyota recall report. He refused to look and said he couldn’t gold certify the vehicle. Remember we factored the GOLD cert into the deal already. I even offered to pay the $500 to have it gold certified just like they did with the 2023 Corolla I bought last month. He still refused . They wanted to sell me a 2023 Tacoma w/ an open recall and refused to fix it . Michael and I walked to service and spoke briefly to Manny (Emmanuel) about the recall . Manny did some checks on his computer and phone and said no problem pull it around. Michael pulled the vehicle up to service to address the recall. Recall was fixed against the sales managers orders. Why would this manager refuse to fix a recall on an axle ? That is a major safety issue that Toyota is liable for. Is there something wrong with the truck that we don’t know ? If so we need to know . I reluctantly still made the deal without the gold certification . I requested the $500 back that was factored into the deal for the gold certification. Michael talked to that same new manager who said he’d only give me $150 back. To add to our experience we spoke to an elderly woman in the desk next to us who was there the day prior and put a deposit down on a car. When she came in on Saturday the same manager that screwed me over told her they can’t make the deal. It was obvious the woman was distraught and upset . Not sure if you’ve been to Al Hendrickson at 1:00pm on a Saturday but it’s standing room only. I was embarrassed for her to be subjected to that in front of all those people. I spoke to her briefly outside while already waiting 5 hours. She apparently paid a deposit the day before signed a bunch of paper and was told no deal today. I feel like this manager was preying on an elderly woman and tried taking advantage of me because I too was vulnerable w/ my trade in. As I said Michael the sales guy was a nice guy, appeared concerned and to tried hard to make a deal. I whole heartly would like to believe that this entire bait and switch and experience is not part of the entire sales team tactics to include managers and salesmen. More

Just want to share my experience yesterday hopefully it reaches the right ears . Michael the sales guy was a nice kid . Can’t say the same thing for the managers. They pulled the old bait and switch t reaches the right ears . Michael the sales guy was a nice kid . Can’t say the same thing for the managers. They pulled the old bait and switch to me and an older woman who paid a deposit the day prior . We had a deal w/ Michael and Andres . Michael had me sign a bunch of papers and told me put it under my insurance which I did and thought we were out the door. Then at the very end the same manager that screwed the old lady came to me and said they couldn’t do it . We drove down from Stuart last month and bought a Corolla cash from you . It was a pleasant and quick experience home by noon. We showed up at 9:30am today and got home at 8pm. It’s blatantly obvious that manager tried taking advantage of that old woman and myself because we were both in vulnerable positions . Apparently even all the sales guy are complaining about the new boss and his policies. We won’t be going back down next week to buy a Cross for my dad as discussed with Michael. Michael Joseph the sales kid was great . Give him a raise or get control of that new manager so he can start making some money . Someone on salary doesn’t care about another on commission. That manager is only hindering sales and turning away customers. More
