Two months later, I’m still waiting to be paid money the dealership admits it owes me. I’ve now been trying to recover a $600 refund from Berman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Oak Lawn for over two months. dealership admits it owes me. I’ve now been trying to recover a $600 refund from Berman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Oak Lawn for over two months. The dealership has acknowledged the refund is owed, yet the process has been marked by repeated delays: * My trade-in payoff wasn’t requested for over a month. * Communication was inconsistent, requiring multiple follow-up calls and an in-person visit just to get updates. * The refund check was mailed to the wrong address. * I was told a replacement check would be issued, but I still have no definitive timeline for when I’ll receive it. I’ve made every reasonable effort to resolve this directly with the dealership. Because the matter remains unresolved, I have begun escalating it through formal consumer protection channels. I hope no other customer has to spend months chasing money that the dealership has already acknowledged is owed. More
