On December 10, 2024, my 2021 Chevy blazer was towed into the service center as I had experienced a near death incident on that day. The auto/stop function shut down my blazer while driving in the busiest in the service center as I had experienced a near death incident on that day. I met Matthew Ramsarran, service advisor who exhibited empathy and sympathy for what I had experienced on that day. He noticed that I was traumatized and still with severe anxiety/panic symptoms when I got to the dealership. He told me that he would call me with the status of the vehicle. The next day, he submitted an invoice that the vehicle was placed on recall due to auto/stop not connecting to restart the engine. On December 20, 2024, I returned back to the dealership and asked to speak to Walker Starling, the owner of the dealership but a lovely employee named Tammy Royalpen at the front desk informed me that Mr. Starling was not in. I believed her as she exhibited kindness, honesty, compassion and empathy for what had happened to me on December 10th. I informed her that no had reached out to me especially since this was not my fault and no one had offered a loaner since my blazer was still not functional and on a recall. Then I met, Jackie Bonilla, a service rep who was as nice as Tammy and she had ready for me a loaner to use until someone higher up would offer a resolution to remedy what I went through. On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, I revisited the dealership as I had not heard anything from anyone from the dealership. Ms. Tammy, brought me over to Eli Arena, a sales consultant, to see what could be remedied. Long story short, I was introduced to Melissa Messeguer, general manager, who was told of my near death experience. I was convinced after speaking with her that trading in my damaged/recalled blazer which I was totally petrified to drive it again was the best decision. Ms. Messeguer reviewed reviewed the sales numbers that Eli prepared for a newer vehicle which was a demo vehicle would be more cost effective for me. They made it happen. Lastlly, they sent me over to Luisaylin De La Cruz, finance manager, who finalized all the paperwork and contract. Luisaylin was exactly the person I needed to see as she cheered me up and she was truly compassionate about everything I was going through. This entire process since the accident took about a month but at the end, I am satisfied and pleased to leave with a new 2025 Chevy Equinox and Eli made sure that the auto/stop feature button was accessible to turn off every time I start the vehicle so that I would not have to go through what I experienced in the prior vehicle. My daughter, Natalie and I feel a calmness and we are satisfied with Starling Chevrolet's outstanding staff members mentioned in this review for all who read this that there are still folks that go the extra when in times of need.
