When I was shopping around for my vehicle Daniel approached me and asked how he could help. I have had previous conversations with him on other visits. But he remembered me. Salesman was great -- professional and pleasant to deal with. However, I have a real problem when a dealership quotes me a price for a vehicle, I come in to purchase the vehicle and I'm presented with a fi with. However, I have a real problem when a dealership quotes me a price for a vehicle, I come in to purchase the vehicle and I'm presented with a financial sheet that includes an additional $7,000 for DMA and $3,000 for Toyota Advantage that were NOT mentioned in any way when I was communicating with the salesperson prior to getting there. That's a 25% increase in the price and a clear bait and switch to get me into the dealership. Instead, the salesperson focused my attention on the estimated payments to see if they were acceptable. When I inquired about the DMA and Toyota Advantage the response was really "these aren't the droids you're looking for". We eventually settled on a number (adjustment to DMA) but I had no real choice as I needed to buy the vehicle that day as a gift for my wife who was out of town. In any other circumstance, I would have gone to another dealership, including non-Toyota dealerships. More
