Sales process We had purchased an Escape from this dealership 4 years ago and they were our first choice this time. We did inform them we were checking another sour We had purchased an Escape from this dealership 4 years ago and they were our first choice this time. We did inform them we were checking another source and were looking for best deal. Both companies responded promptly, however Machens offer, on similar priced SUV's, was $4000 higher than the other. To make a long story short the two companies ended up with less than $500 difference in price. Interesting to note is that Machens eventually came down about $5000 and The other about $1000. As a former customer we expected better of Machens. We eventually bought from them because they had the car we wanted. On a positive note our salesman was knowledgeable and eventually got the price right. Have always liked their service. More
