I have worked for Volvo for 10 years and would not work for any other car dealership. I have been at Courtesy Volvo since it opened in August 2017. My favorite thing about the Volvo brand is their luxury features and safety. My favorite car is a Volvo XC40.

My Volvo system let me know that I had a problem with my start/stop system and I made an appointment immediately for service; despite this, I was contacted several times by the dealership (phone calls and start/stop system and I made an appointment immediately for service; despite this, I was contacted several times by the dealership (phone calls and emails) to schedule an appointment. I continue to be reminded that I have not had my car serviced well over a week after the service was completed. I arrived at the dealership and after sitting in the car (as instructed by signage) for a period of time but knowing from past experience that a service person will not actually come out in a timely manner, I went into the dealership where I was directed to Andy's desk. Andy put his mask up as I walked toward him but did not cover his nose nor did he do so for our entire interaction. Diana, whose desk is adjacent to Andy's, was wearing her mask on her chin. They could not find my appointment quickly and when they did, I was told that it was likely a battery and a quick fix. I left quickly only to find my car with all the windows all open and the keys in it. I asked one of the runners to please close the windows. I never leave my car windows open due to allergies and in an attempt to keep Arizona dust out, as well as to deter theft. As a response, I got a lengthy lecture on why they leave the keys in the car and the windows down. The quick fix took about five hours during which time the dealership texted my husband's cell several times despite the fact that I provided a email (preferred for communications) as well as the correct phone number both when I made the appointment and when I dropped the car off. My husband did let me know when the car was ready, and I headed out to pick up the car. When I arrived at the dealership, there was a repeat in the mask behavior and Andy seemed annoyed by my request to take my husband's cell phone OFF the account completely to prevent him being spammed with texts about my vehicle. The battery was replaced and I have had no further issues with the start/stop system. I did not want to write this lengthy review detailing my entire service experience, but was told I could not simply write about my experience with employees not wearing masks appropriately even though I believe this is the detail that matters. Everyone needs to wear a mask. I can't do anything about other customers, but I expect people who are working for my business to not have a discussion with me in the middle of a pandemic with their noses hanging out of their masks. I'm am so tired of this behavior. If you are sharing air space with other humans, cover you mouth and nose. Your rights end where you have the ability to infect others. Andy and Diane were both unmasked when I dropped off and again when I picked up the vehicle so this is clearly a habit, not just a lapse in judgment. More
