Derek took his time explaining all the features on the cars we test drove. He was very kind, knowledgeable and patient. It was great to have a salesman that was not pushy but very informative. The experience with the sales manager and the finance manager were not what I expected. These individuals could do better at understanding the buyers POV and not increase stress and pressure that is alr manager were not what I expected. Once I declined the extended warranty, the finance manager was very short and rude and didn’t even offer to shake my hand after the transition. I live in Orlando, FL, and I was searching both locally and nationally for a very specific vehicle build. The local dealers simply did not have the configuration I wanted. The only options they had forced and nationally for a very specific vehicle build. The local dealers simply did not have the configuration I wanted. The only options they had forced me into trims and packages that drove the price up $3,000 to $4,000 immediately. On top of that, they wanted to layer in add-ons and dealer fees ranging from $1,500 to $3,000. It adds up fast. After expanding my search nationwide, I found Woody with the exact build I was looking for at one of the best publicly listed prices anywhere in the country. What really set Woody apart is that they actually honored the price on their website. After working with several other dealers, both locally and nationally, who would not stand behind their advertised numbers and instead played games with mandatory packages and surprise fees, I was fully expecting the same here. It never happened. The price was the price. No bait and switch. No inflated dealer fees. No required add-ons buried in the paperwork. Even after arranging and paying for shipping myself, I still saved thousands compared to anything available in Orlando or elsewhere in the country. I initially started working with Briana in the internet sales department, who was helpful and responsive in getting everything moving. I later worked directly with Derek Love, and he was excellent throughout the remainder of the process. He was responsive, detail-oriented, and genuinely focused on making sure everything was handled correctly from start to finish. I usually dread buying new cars because of the typical dealership tactics, but Woody made it straightforward, honest, and low stress. The only thing that could have made it smoother would have been if they coordinated shipping in-house. Otherwise, this is exactly how buying a car should work. More
