The offered $3500 dollars “sight unseen” for our trade and when we arrived they claimed the exhaust gasket leak was reason to conclude the truck would need a new engine and offered $500. We believe this might just be a regular ploy to corner a customer into a position where they have no leverage. The second issue was when we went to sign the paperwork and a $1500 Xzilon up charge on the purchase agreement that they claimed had already been installed on the vehicle even though it had never been mentioned even once during our correspondence about the vehicle. First it was the hard sell from the finance lady that had no clue what she was talking about, then a threat that they would simply sell the vehicle to another buyer as if we had no value to their business. Next another manager from the dealership who we had never met came in and acted like this was normal and we should be happy to be paying what we are for the $105k vehicle and this small up charge. Reluctantly they agreed to wave the fee when we said the deal would be off. The finance lady then wrote “Not Applied” or “Not Done” on the xzilon paperwork indicating to us it had never even been applied to the vehicle. We believe there may be a systematic fleecing of customers at this dealership. This is our first GM truck purchased in the past twenty years. We do have a Buick car that we love and have had other GM vehicles before that. We currently have an F150, Ford Excursion and 2017 Land Rover Discovery that will need to be replaced eventually. We love the vehicle (2023 Yukon XL Ultimate) but dread having to go through this kind of experience when buying our next vehicle. We also were disappointed not to get any value out of our Supplier/GM employee pricing on the vehicle. We are happy to tell you more about our experience. Again, McKenna is the best! More

Perfect transaction, my second time purchasing at community gmc of waterloo. Sales, financing, service, are all extremely professional and well schooled. Nothing is better than sitting down and picking out your new purchase, being able to ask questions and have them answered intelligently. This was my second new purchase from community and first from ashley tudor. Both great experiences. The highlight of both was no pressure!!! I didnt have to say no 10 times or pull my hair out. I told ashley what was looking for, year, make and model. We talked, i went lunch. He called back and said i think i've got it, just coming off the truck now if you have time. I did have time. In todays economy you need to make time... I looked it over, he answered questions. We had a good talk (pleasant) and i said yeah, lets do it. Picked the vehicle up the next morning and spent more time swapping stuff over than i did in the actual purchasing. Took the long way home to enjoy and get the feel of it (love it btw). That is as good as it gets anywhere! More
