My Buying Experience One day I decided to go take at look at the Cadillac's the local dealership right up the road from my work place. Had always thought Cadillacs were f One day I decided to go take at look at the Cadillac's the local dealership right up the road from my work place. Had always thought Cadillacs were for old people, but my husband had been talking about them for months. I pulled up and was promptly greeted by my salesman, David McElligott. He was polite and very friendly. I explained what I wanted to look at and the circumstances to which would have to be met in order for me to purchase a new car. You see, I had two vehicles that I wanted to trade in for the one. Since I was currently driving one of the vehicles, David quickly arranged for the estimator to take a look at my car while we were test driving one of the Cadillac CTS's. He showed me all the bells and whistles and was very knowledgable in regards to the product. When we returned to the showroom, he was able to quickly get a run down on the numbers for the deal I was trying to make. I did not purchase the car that day…needed to go home and discuss with my husband. We looked at the different styles of Cadillacs and decided on the small version, the ATS. So the next day, I went back to the dealership to test drive the ATS - on my lunch hour. Again, David was available and happy to help me. I was sold. Since the dealership had not seen the second vehicle I was trading and my husband had not seen the new car, David arrange for us to drive the car to the house so my husband, who was recovering from surgery, could see the new car and David drove my other vehicle back to the dealership. My choice was made and David went to work on the deal while I returned to work. Throughout the afternoon, David would call and keep me updated on the progress. After work, I returned to the dealership with my husband and we reviewed the deal. It was everything that David had said and we had agreed on. We signed the paperwork and I am now the proud owner of a new 2014 Cadillac ATS. I have recommended David to several people and will certainly ask for him when my husband gets ready to trade up his Chevy truck. More

Wonderful Experience David McElligott went above and beyond for us when we bought our FIRST car. My husband is in AIT school in Ft. Gordon Georgia and could not be there in person when we went to test drive the car. He communicated with us and answered every question we had....which was A LOT! I went to several car dealerships before deciding on Five Star Chevrolet in Warner Robins. I can tell you I would not have bought from this dealership if it had not been for David's help and understanding of our situation. Not only did he help us with getting the financing, but he also took the papers to Ft. Gordon (which is two hours away) for my husband to sign. My husband felt like he treated him with the utmost respect.He treated us like "family" and I did not feel pressured to make a decision that day. He demonstrated the vehicles I showed an interest in, and allowed me to test drive them all to see the differences in the vehicles. At no time was my salesman at all pushy or short, he genuinely was there to assist me and make sure I was completely sure and convinced that this was my NEW vehicle!!! Even when we had to complete all the paperwork he was there to explain everything and not to leave out anything. David was a true professional and now someone I consider a dear friend, I will continue to purchase my vehicles from 5 Star Chevrolet and advise all my family and friends to do so also. I also recommend David McElligott as their salesman, he is truly a dedicated, caring individual. More
