Perfect, start to finish I've bought a lot of higher end cars and let me tell you, there's normally a massive gulf between the German brand dealerships and the American brand I've bought a lot of higher end cars and let me tell you, there's normally a massive gulf between the German brand dealerships and the American brand stores. This is problematic because I for sure prefer the best of what American sports cars have to offer. So when I was looking to get out of my M3 and into a Corvette, I figured I was in for a typically miserable experience, and at the first two dealerships I went to, that's exactly what I got. But not at Schumacher Livingston. To be honest, my hopes weren't high, as the name Schumacher hardly inspires confidence if you've ever been to one of their other locations, but Livingston had a Vette that looked pretty good so I figured it was worth a shot. What a great surprise; it was an experience on par with the best of what I've gotten at BMW and Porsche. My salesman, Lou, couldn't have been more helpful and less pressuring. I came on a Friday afternoon, looked at the car, liked it, told him and his manager that I wanted to just check out one more car to do my due diligence and they said do what you have to do. No crazy pressure, no hard sell, no constant phone calls. When I was ready to move forward the following Monday we finalized some numbers, I came back in and that was that; I drove away in a car I absolutely love. A couple weeks later I noticed that one of my rear tires was damaged on the sidewall and getting worse. Because I didn't have much time, I brought it to a different Chevy dealership, the one closest to me, (which will remain nameless), and it was the same miserable experience I've come to expect from them. I called Livingston, they said bring it in and they'd make it right and that's exactly what they did. Again, as good, if not better than what I experienced with my BMW M3. Tl;dr: One of the best car buying experiences I've had. Period. I wouldn't bother with this review if it wasn't that good. *Highly* recommended. Ask for Lou. More
