I purchased a Lotus Emira from Galpin Lotus in June 2025, expecting the premium treatment that should come with a high end vehicle. Instead, I was falsely accused of identity fraud by their sales manager, Da expecting the premium treatment that should come with a high end vehicle. Instead, I was falsely accused of identity fraud by their sales manager, David Choi. based solely on a minor discrepancy in the phone number listed on my loan application and a missed call. I had clearly explained, both verbally and in writing, that due to my limited English, my husband handled the application process and used his contact information with full transparency. Rather than seeking clarification, Mr. David Choi addressed me in an aggressive, accusatory, and intimidating manner. His tone and behavior caused me significant emotional distress, and I was forced to cancel a $5,000 body kit order from the UK out of fear that my entire purchase might be undone. Although Lotus Financial later cleared me of any wrongdoing, Neither Mr. Choi nor Galpin Lotus has acknowledged or taken responsibility for the harm they caused, nor have they offered any form of compensation I escalated the issue through the appropriate channels and requested that the dealership take reasonable responsibility either through a gesture of goodwill or internal corrective action. My efforts were dismissed without resolution. I am sharing this so that others are aware of how seriously mishandled a situation can become, even when you're a fully qualified buyer with excellent credit and honest intent. I hope this review serves as a cautionary account, and that Galpin Lotus takes this as an opportunity to reflect, train their staff better, and treat future customers with the respect and professionalism they deserve.
