Took my 2019 Cayenne in for a low battery voltage warning light. Warning light happened about one year ago and the communication gateway was re-programmed and all worked well. Now warning light returned only light. Warning light happened about one year ago and the communication gateway was re-programmed and all worked well. Now warning light returned only this time software was not the problem. Actual battery monitoring circuit on the battery was bad. Battery itself was still good. Must replace battery because of the integral monitoring circuit. Service personnel did find the issue and provided the option of battery replacement or just ignore the warning light and replace the battery when it eventually goes. Based on the very high cost of the battery, I elected to wait. More
