I would leave one star but I'm not that type of human. It seems that everytime I go to the elkgrove Toyota location it never takes just one trip to complete whatever service I am requesting. Not sure what that's about.. this last trip I requested my oil change because the sticker they left on the windshield said it was due and since I am taking a trip to Mexico I figured I would get the vehicle in top shape. So I called and requested it along with the multipoint inspection that automatically comes with it. They said there was a recall so they would take care of that too. When I got there the tech says it still has about a thousand miles until oil change is needed, I said yes but the date is over so I wanted it done (not feeling like I needed to explain to him my vacation plans) I arranged my own transportation and it's not easy with kids in school and taking time off for this stuff. When I picked up the car he said sign here everything's done , here is a slip for DMV Incase they question the recall, gave me my keys. I go outside to wait for my car,look over the paperwork and nowhere does it say they changed the oil. I go inside and he says I didn't need it. What? I specifically brought it in for an oil change.."it's not quite due yet" he says.. I did not take off the entire day and arrange all of this inconvenient transportation just so I could have to bring the car back for an oil change next time and how are they going to do this multipoint inspection when I still need the oil change anyways!?? I was furious I walked out of the office went home got on the phone of course the manager David or whatever his name is wasn't there he was at lunch so I left a message and he called me back and I have to admit it was the worst customer service or support I've received the man spoke over me the entire time would not listen whatsoever, he made it so I don't ever want to go back to the dealership again there at this location, I asked if he could annotate my issue in the records or give me some type of written complaint and he refused he said if I wanted to I could bring in my manual and he will write in when my oil changes are due... So rude and disrespectful. This is the management they choose to employ! Thank you but no Thank you! All they had to do was tell me the oil wasn't due when I called in and I would not have brought it until it was. Period. More

Only if I can rate them with 0 star, I would. Not satisfy with their customer service. Took my car in for a safety recall in good condition, everything works perfectly fine. Including auto slidin Not satisfy with their customer service. Took my car in for a safety recall in good condition, everything works perfectly fine. Including auto sliding door and received a call from service agent, MIGUEL that the sliding door doesn't open automatically. Then spoke with the service supervisor name DAVE, regarding this situation. As we try to resolve this issue, all they want to do is business talk and want to charge us for diagnosis what cause the door to not open automatically. As I stated to him the automatic sliding door worked perfectly fine when we drop off and hand them the key. What upset me the most is DAVE, stated "how do we know that you are not lying." Like seriously, are you xxxxen kidding me, this is xx. He also stated that my car has never in their shop before, yes that's true but we have been a loyal customer to ELK GROVE toyota for our Tundra's service for years, but they failed us this time around. Another thing is why do I needed to bring in my car to you, Toyota shop, when there is nothing wrong with my car. This is so stupid, sound more like another business talk. He pointed every finger back to us that the issue happen prior to the drop off blah blah blah nothing that they did. There were no empathy in this situation. Imagine, you dropped off your car in good condition for recall, and when you pick up your car, its not in the SAME condition and all they want to do is charge you this and that to find out the problem. I told DAVE im not willing to pay the fee for the diagnosis and there you go "well then you car is ready to be pick up" xxx man. I question him what is your priority here, he stated "to take care of our customer" well you guys fail big time on your priority and need a lot to work on. Should do those protocols while your customer is present instead of calling them a liar. Not sure who is the LIAR in this situation. THIS IS A BIG BIG BIG DISAPPOINTMENT TO ME. DEFINATELY NOT HAPPY AND SATISFIED WITH THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE. More

Worst dealership ever. They ruined my engine and always did the least amount of work possible never fix the problem. Did major work three times and never fix the problem. Now after eight years they final did the least amount of work possible never fix the problem. Did major work three times and never fix the problem. Now after eight years they finally replace the engine light they should have in the first place. The problem is the same as always before it went the cheapest way possible. They put a used engine in and I’m sure it’s the cheapest one they could get. It has corrosion on the outside like it’s been exposed to salt water. I can only hope that it has not been in a flood. More

Not concerned about safety sent Us off without fixing the nail in the tire. Would not recommend. They did the 25,000 service and discovered a nail in the tire. Just returned the tire to the car and sent us on our way. Very unhappy. More
