Slow service. I was told an hour for standard oil change which took 2. Called multiple times to check in as I was waiting nearby. I called & was transferred & disc I was told an hour for standard oil change which took 2. Called multiple times to check in as I was waiting nearby. I called & was transferred & disconnected 3x before I decided to just show up. Setting expectations ahead of time is immensely important. If I would have been told a 20 minute oil change would take 3 hours i could have planned for that. Realistic expectations were not offered as I was told 1 hour. This is now the 3rd time for my maintenance oil change on my new car purchased there. If this continues I will buy next car elsewhere More

I just bought a 2019 GMC Sierra and wanted to have it serviced and inspected for a couple issues. I chose to go to Gilchrest because that's where the original owner bought the truck. When I got there I serviced and inspected for a couple issues. I chose to go to Gilchrest because that's where the original owner bought the truck. When I got there I was ignored for about 5 minutes when finally called over to a service advisor. Once in front of him, I wasn't welcomed or even said hello to. We went over what I wanted completed and I left. Later that afternoon they let me know it was ready and when I got there, once again ignored. I went up to the service area to ask about my truck and she told me to go to the cashier. They didn't review the service or discuss the issues I wanted looked at until I asked them. I expect more from a service department especially in the communication department. This was not a good experience and most likely will find a new place to take my truck to next time. More
