Sales great Took care of couple of issues but Never did the work on scratched vehicle and service center had vehicle 3 different times and even said the vehicle Took care of couple of issues but Never did the work on scratched vehicle and service center had vehicle 3 different times and even said the vehicle needed to stay overnight because it was getting repaired/ painted but when we picked up car the next day vihicle was not touched as service department said it would be If your not going to do the repairs or don’t want to do the repairs just say so. Don’t tell your customers your going to do work on their vehicle and then don’t even attempt repairs. That’s not the way to retain customers. More

Sales Associate was great but the process was tedious First off, let me say that our Sales Associate, Darrell Taylor, was great! He did everything he could for us and I would recommend anyone looking for a Honda go see him. Now the bad. The experience at the dealership was tedious at best! I went in there with a 2011 Jeep Wrangler with zero cosmetic or mechanical issues and it was easily a “Very Good” according to Kelly Blue Book standards. Based of that, I expected to get between $13k - $17k for it. The manager offered me $10,500.00 for it. Now, I am a Jeep guy and I know what they are worth and what they sell for (I currently own three of them). On top of that, I was a mechanic in the military for 7 of my 11 years of service so I do know what I am talking about. The Jeep, admittedly, had 104,000 miles on the body and frame but the entire long-block was replaced at 55,000 by Jeep. I was actually insulted by this offer! Darrell went back and forth with them but the best we could get them to do was $11,500. The next issue is that they tried to price the car at sticker instead of the advertised price on the website. I had to call them on that. So that was another 15 minutes just to fix that. Then, McLarty installs on all of their vehicles (whether you want it or not) a McLarty package that cost $1,200. That is not listed on the website but is covered by the barely legible fine print that states the price does not include dealer installed options. So this mandatory package represents a 6% price increase that you need to take into account when dealing with McLarty. I will tell you that twice before I have looked at Hondas and both times I have gotten up and walked out of the dealerships (Honda World & Bale) because the entire Honda buying experience is abismal and McLarty is no different. Honda does not come down on their prices, the dealerships all act like they are doing you a favor, and they all seem to forget you are a customer. Had my daughter not had her heart set on that exact car, I would have walked out on Honda a third time and gone to a vehicle company who actually wants my business (like Paker Audi where I bought my Q7).. Again, I stress that Darrell was GREAT, McLarty was difficult to deal with, and Honda doesn’t seem to care that you are the customer. More
