If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience at Kastner Honda was nothing short of a manipulative circus. From the moment I inquired about purchasing a vehicle, I was upfront about My experience at Kastner Honda was nothing short of a manipulative circus. From the moment I inquired about purchasing a vehicle, I was upfront about my situation—I have terrible credit, no job, and no co-signer. Despite this, multiple salespeople assured me they could work with me, even after taking all my personal information, including my Social Security number and date of birth. I arrived at the dealership around 11 a.m., only to be passed from one person to another, each telling me something different. After running my credit, they initially told me I needed a co-signer—something I had already disclosed from the start. Frustrated, I questioned why they wasted my time when they had all my information beforehand. But instead of letting me leave, they insisted they could “make something work” and had me stay. A financing representative then told me I didn’t need a co-signer, that they had a bank willing to approve me with no proof of income. Excited, I started signing paperwork for the car I wanted—a Dodge Charger. They even sent the car off to be detailed, telling me it was officially mine. I was on the verge of celebrating when, suddenly, another finance employee told me I did need a co-signer after all. At this point, I had wasted my entire day—five hours of back-and-forth lies and empty promises. When I confronted the finance representative who initially told me I didn’t need a co-signer, he outright denied ever saying it. He looked me in the face and lied. The entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch, designed to keep me there for hours, dangling false hope in front of me. The only honest and professional person I encountered was Levi, who actually treated me with respect. If I had worked solely with him, I might have considered asking my dad to co-sign. But after being manipulated, deceived, and completely disregarded by the rest of the staff, I refused to give them my business. This dealership is dishonest, unprofessional, and willing to waste your entire day just to string you along. Do yourself a favor—take your business elsewhere. More
