I appreciate the head guy, Daniel, who worked hard to help me. But the problem with my car was misdiagnosed. I was told initially it was going to cost $1,000 to fix and then after 3 and 1/2 months of wai help me. But the problem with my car was misdiagnosed. I was told initially it was going to cost $1,000 to fix and then after 3 and 1/2 months of waiting and no and in sight because of redesign issues, I was told it was going to cost 3,000, which is about half the worth of the car. I did some research and then took it someplace else. As it turns out, is t was not the engine control module that needed replacement. There was a broken bolt that meant the grounding wire attached to the battery wasn't grounded properly and so it was shorting out the starter. Once they replaced the battery and the bolt, it's worked fine, and the total charge was a little over 700. Not infrequently in the past I've had to take the car in multiple times to get the same problem fixed. Some of the time things have gone smoothly. But I'm switching my service center to this new place. More
