I reached out to them about a 2000 Porsche 911 they have. They both assured me the car ran great and was issue free. Further assuring me the salesperson said when they get German cars in that aren’t satisfactory after inspection by the German shop they are able to return them to auction. i was sent three photos of the worst imperfections and told the car needed a good paint correction and it would be solid. I flew to Chicago and went to the dealer where I was sat down in front of paperwork (where I was told for the first time they had to do a background check and soft credit pull even though I was paying cash, would have been nice to be informed that beforehand) before even test driving or inspecting, I said I wouldn’t complete the deal until I had a chance to do those things. So I began inspecting the car and got down underneath and there was oil seepage all under the engine, as best as I could tell the rear main seal was shot (common and expensive issue on these cars), this wasn’t a little bit, wiping my hands underneath covered them in oil. In addition, the paint work needed more work than what I was led to believe and the rear bumper where the Carfax said there was a minor accident was clearly poorly fixed/misaligned. They offered $500 then $1000 off or for me to wait to have it looked at by their German shop again the next day, but I frankly had seen enough and was not comfortable with the purchase. At this point it was too late to book a return flight, train, bus, or rental car. I had to purchase the first flight out and pay for transportation to the airport, since the ticket was so expensive last minute I decided to not book a hotel. As soon as I said I would not buy the car I was somewhat ignored, and they couldn’t even offer to drive me to the airport or call me an Uber there as a small token for my wasted time and money. All in all, the dishonesty or lack of attention to detail, however you want to interpret it, cost me $650, about 18 hours of time and a full night of sleep. If you’re looking to deal with them from out of state, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. More

Great dealership with great people- they make car buying easy. Everyone there was helpful and informative, especially our salesman Dan Fontana. We had questions, they had honest answers. Haggerty Motors is a very professional dealership that has a wonderful blueprint layout of a dealership. Mr.Fontana had spoken with me by telephone and made an appointment; but I got there early. After entering, Mr. Soule greeted me with a very professional greeting and asked if he could help as Mr. Fontana was not present. I actually saw my name on the appointment board which really impressed me. Never had that experience! Mr. Soule proceeded with guiding me through the purchasing of my vehicle and he truly is a wonderful sales person. I am a former retired marketing person and he truly sold me on my purchase. His professionalism, warmth, demonstration of vehicle, showing various color of cars. I actualy drove two vehicles and the last drive sealed the deal. Actually, I have an appointment today that I must cancel because I have already purchased my car. Before I talked to Mr. Fontana and had he not scheduled the appointment, I probably would have bought the car from Rizza Motors. The appointment was a key factor because I don't like to wait. After Mr. Soule and I met, I felt so proud of my decision. He was a major part of my decision and such a wonderful human being. Financing was a key factor with Mr. Jonson, helpful and personable. Being a teacher, explaining the process and making sense of it is so relevant. I trust that the service department will have the same impact as we imbark on this journey together. Keep up the good work as I will tell my story to others. Thank You very much for you assistance. More
