Dan grew up in Randolph Wisconsin and attended high school at CWC in Waupun and went to college at UWSP in Stevens Point. Go Pointers! Dan is a huge sports fan of all the Wisconsin teams including The Brewers, Packers, Badgers and Bucks. When he isn’t selling cars and trucks or watching sports he enjoys spending as much time possible hunting ducks, deer and turkeys along with fishing for any fish he can catch whether it’s through the ice or with a rod and line. Our car buy process with summit started with a phone call to see we could test drive a vehicle from there website we were driving an hour to do this and asked if there was anyway we could be assured it would to see we could test drive a vehicle from there website we were driving an hour to do this and asked if there was anyway we could be assured it would still be there, we were told if we put. 1000$ deposit non refundable they would secure it for us. This seemed steep and a non refundable on a vehicle that was in a stop sale for recalls. We were told we would get a call back quickly to see if they could waive that 4 hours later we called back and they said absolutely they would hold it with no deposit but we had to do the follow up work. We were place with a sales person and drove it and loved it and were willing to wait for recalls to be resolved. We received a phone call and were told we could pick up right away and then an another saying wait no we have to wait for the recall fix no problem the fix was happening in a couple days. We were then told late Friday afternoon or Saturday for delivery and would receive a call once they knew for sure no phone call so Thursday evening we called only to be told by the receptionist our sales person was out on vacation and would be back for over a week, were we supposed to wait til then? We then received a curt phone call that it was all handled and we would have another sales person no worries pick up Saturday morning. We were and he was a very nice man and covered a lot of things. We were also told it would be detailed and gassed up well it had gas but well that’s about it anyway we noticed a rusted tow hook at the dealer and once we arrived home to wash it a cap above the windshield was missing and there was a very significant paint flaw. Going back and forth trying to figure this out and finally a date to fix and it comes back and the paint issue is not fixed after having it almost 3 days we were told they needed it that long to be sure the paint would cure what paint ?? Any way do not recommend stay away they need people who are knowledgable in recalls time frames and that return phone calls. We also had missing paperwork in our financing that we had to do via email and phone conversations I will say our second sales person was good but the damage was done the trust had been drained and what should have been a fun experience was stressful More
