Bought vehicle in fall 2023. Bought vehicle and warranty from dealership. Fast-forward to 9/11/24. Scheduled appointment for 0930. Arrived 5 min early. Fretted took my informatio Bought vehicle and warranty from dealership. Fast-forward to 9/11/24. Scheduled appointment for 0930. Arrived 5 min early. Fretted took my information and went inside to tell the advisor I had arrived. Twenty minutes later after waiting in the heat I go inside to find my advisor just chatting away. I explained I had been waiting. He did apologize. After a 3 hour wait with no updates I reach out to advisor to let him know if parts needed to be ordered I would bring the vehicle back. I was told they would have a diagnosis around 2 in the afternoon. Time went by and 2:30 rolled around…I check the tracking app and vehicle still in checked in.Last than 5 minutes later everything is checked but I still do not hear from advisor. I walk out side and see the vehicle sitting in the parking lot. I go back inside and wait about 10 minutes for advisor. He proceeds to tell me it has to go to a Hyundai dealership because they can’t do it there. Keep in mind I bought vehicle and warranty through the dealership that is now saying they can’t fix it. I can understanding seeking a vehicle that you may not be able to work on but why offer a warranty if you are unable to fix the problems. Now I have to take it to a certified Hyundai dealer. I ask about warrant and they state they only pay a certain rate for labor and I would need to pay the difference. This is insane and unethical. First you upsell a customer to buy an warranty then your business can’t even fix the vehicle they sold the warranty for. Disappointment! More
