I came to buy a new truck and met Dan Harkins. I did not know him but told him there was a truck on the lot that I was interested in checking out. He immediately started telling me everything about the truck and we took it for a spin. When we got back and sat down to discuss my trade in, I did not make it easy. We negotiated for quite a while, but Dan was cool with that and we worked a deal were we both where happy. I went home with my new truck that day. Dan made the sale because I thought he was fair, very professional, and he continued to work with me without getting upset. I would deal with him again, when the time comes. I bought my second Toyota from Koons Westminster because I had such a good experience buying my 2002 Camry. Everytime I have returned for routine maintence I have made an effort to look him up. He always has a positive attitude. My only problem is that I live a good 45 minutes away from the dealership. He told us all about the RAV4 that we were interested in, then he had us take it for a test drive. he pointed out all the fine points of purchase. I walked into Koons Toyota for the 1st time about a month ago. I knew what I wanted but was not ready to purchase. I went with the intent of finding out how much of a trade in I would get and if it made sens ago. I knew what I wanted but was not ready to purchase. Dan was very patient, there was no pressure, has wonderful follow through and most of all was willing to work with my time frame. Dan called me with inventory updates once a week and when I was ready to buy, about 4 weeks later, I called Dan to let him know I was coming in. Dan was very easy to work with and took care of me - the customer. I had to return my old tags to the MVA and Dan brought me my paperwork since I had limited time. That's above and beyond! Kudos to Dan and the team at Koons for making this customer very happy with the purchase of a new car. More
