My wife and I have purchased 6 o 7 vehicles from C. Wimberley in the last 10 to 12 years. We've never had a problem with them until recently. We had dropped off 1 of our vehicles for service work while Wimberley in the last 10 to 12 years. We've never had a problem with them until recently. We had dropped off 1 of our vehicles for service work while we were on vacation. The personnel in service that we dealt with were as good and professional as ever. This time, we did have some concerns about what was found wrong with the vehicle. On the advice of the service and sales personnel, we reached out to both Dallas and Chuck Wimberley more than once. Neither of them responded. It's really a shame because the personnel there at Wimberley are great. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the owners. When a customer, a very good and repeat customer, has concerns you would think an owner would take that seriously. Obviously, the ownership doesn't see it that way. At the end of the day, that's fine, a lesson learned for us. With 6 children and 11 grandchildren the amount of business that Wimberley has enjoyed from our family is substantial. Thankfully, there are many dealerships in the area who will value our business. UPDATE - It isn't very often nowadays that a business will take responsibility when something goes wrong. Almost everywhere you go it's "Buyer Beware". So I have to do the right thing and say that Wimberley, specifically Dallas Wimberley himself, reached out to me. Not only did he apologize for what happened, but took it upon himself to make the situation right. That is so rare today that I have to admit I was completely surprised. When that happens, credit belongs totally to the business and those that run the business. It speaks volumes about how Wimberley values every customer. My hats off to Wimberley and the way they conduct their business. I will definitely be giving them my refrerral. More
