The folks at Albany Subaru service center were absolutely fantastic! They helped me to figure out what was wrong with my car after it shuddered and died while I was driving it. They were very communicative f fantastic! They helped me to figure out what was wrong with my car after it shuddered and died while I was driving it. They were very communicative for the days in which they were conducting the service, including taking seriously and addressing some of my fears, which was helpful. Also, they went above and beyond in communicating with me and being ready for my arrival on the evening that I was hectically trying to make it in time to pick up my car before they closed. The first guy who worked on my car must have. Been stoned. Aaron Pierson. Then wrote an email to State farm describing calmly the currebmnt situation. I took the car in for a smog check and was told it might take 7-8 hours because it was a busy day and there aren't a lot of service folks who do smog checks. So I was well prepared to hang around and wande take 7-8 hours because it was a busy day and there aren't a lot of service folks who do smog checks. So I was well prepared to hang around and wander around the neighborhood (and it's a great neighborhood to wander around with lots of cafes and restaurants). I was very pleasantly surprised when the work was done in less than 4 hours. As for the folks who work there, they are always terrific, from the person who checks you in to the person who takes your money. It's hard to find a nicer group of people. And they do have a great place to sit and wait. More
