The service department is terrific except the female service tech who had no idea what features my edge had. I told her the problem and she was trying to tell me how my tailgate should function. Needles service tech who had no idea what features my edge had. I told her the problem and she was trying to tell me how my tailgate should function. Needless to say this is the second edge I've had and I know perfectly well how the tailgate should work. She's lucky she's not on the sales floor because nobody would buy anything from her. I'm not the first customer who isn't happy with her. Now if you ask me about Pat or Bruce that is a completely different story. They both are respectful of the buying power women have. I do so miss seeing Dale Johnson when I stop. He was one in a million and will never be replaced. I will continue to be use Owatonna Ford (will always be the name to me). Smiles are a nice thing and never become outdated. More

I made an appointment for a recall. Then had my engine light go on, (not related to the recall). I went to auto zone, got a diagnosis, and brought it to the dealership and got more info Then had my engine light go on, (not related to the recall). I went to auto zone, got a diagnosis, and brought it to the dealership and got more information. A service manager, ( not Chris) explained the issue could be 1 of 2 things. He stated the costs to resolve the issue would cost $385 up to $425 which included the $150 diagnostic fee. And usually takes between 1/2 - 1 hr to replace/restore. The day of my appointment I brought my vehicle in at 11:00 am. I told them to call after the recall was taken care of to get permission for any other expenses needed. I got a call around 3pm from Chris stating the recall was almost complete and the other issue would cost $537, and my vehicle would be available around 6 pm. How much does this dealership charge per hour? My purge replacement cost me $380 in labor fees alone. I feel I was lied to about the costs/ labor involved and the time it took to complete. I will never return, not even for an oil change. More
