I’ve been doing a lot of research for a used car for a long while, and I ended up seeing Dave B on YouTube (subscribe to his channel Dave B Sells Chevy) which allowed me to see how transparent both Dave and this dealership is. Dave B very much cares for his customers and is always willing to show you anything you want to see. He’s very nice and will never push you to make a decision that you yourself wouldn’t want to make. Great guy overall and very very friendly. If you’re coming to Schumacher Chevrolet of Livingston go see Dave B!! Along my car buying experience I met Cory who works in the finance office. Absolute great guy! He too stands behind everything the dealership sells like Dave B. He explains all the numbers in your loan very clearly and also will not push you to add things (such as packages) that you yourself wouldn’t want to add. Both Dave B and Cory have been at that dealership for over 15, they know their stuff! We bought a new car from them in the summer of 2 are holding back a refund on an extended warranty. Unscrupulous people. Terrible customer relations. We bought a new car from them in the summer of 2019. It was totaled in an accident in March. It is SEVEN MONTHS later and the dealership still will not refund the balance of the extended warranty that was purchased on the car. They will not return phone calls or emails, other than to say "we will get back to you." They are simply trying to delay long enough hoping we will go away and forget about it. Do NOT deal with this company. More

I still feel like I could have gotten a slightly better deal, but was happy to see that they didn't try any underhanded tactics to screw me over, which we all have heard stories of car dealers doing. I was further impressed with their transparency; even showing me pictures of a scuff that the car had gotten a while ago sitting in the lot. They had refinished it to look brand new so I would have never known that it was even damaged in the first place if they didn't tell me. The staff I worked with were all very friendly and really let me take the lead in the process. Overall very happy with my experience and would definitely recommend Schumacher Chevrolet of Livingston. More

I came back to him I purchased my third Tahoe at this dealership and I was lucky to have Dave Baranauskas who had sold me my last Tahoe 12 years ago. I came back to him because he is a good listener and helps you figure out what to buy for your needs and life style. His You Tube videos "Dave B Sells Chevy" are especially helpful in evaluating different models and their capabilities. Dave was able to look around the Schumacher network of dealers to locate the vehicle that fit my personal/business needs and had it delivered to the site within days and expedited all the paper work for a quick sale. His enthusiasm for cars shows in his personalized videos that I watched to understand the vehicles capabilities in the quiet of my home. On the day of the delivery of my new vehicle he spent time to walk me through the paperwork along with over an hour of his time to show me and my wife the sophisticated electronic controls in the car. The car was cleaned, fueled and polished by the service department unfortunately I did not have time to thank them for the presentation. Dave, Cory , Pete were all very professional in their representation of the dealership and I would recommend them for consideration before you buy your car. More

He spent a lot of time with us and did not rush us into any decisions. We stopped in on Friday night and then purchased the Equinox the next day. What we noticed with other dealers, they first have the sales rep speak to you, then they have their manager step in to close the deal. Schumacher Chevrolet is different, David was our sales rep the entire time with no other manager getting involved with the sale. We appreciated that. David also is going above and beyond creating YouTube videos to help consumers like us understand all the new technology these cars have now. It's a great idea, he truly wants to help his clients. We also met with Cory Calabrese in financing and he explained in detail all the extra options available for additional warranties. Again, he was also not pushy letting us decide what was best for us. There was some miscommunication regarding when we could complete the paperwork and pick up the truck (we showed up thinking everything was good to go when it actually wasn't ready) but when they became aware of the mixup they really hustled and made things right. I would buy from them again. If not for that mixup I would give them five stars. More
