This was my first time at Ferman Chevrolet. I was looking for a used vehicle. The sales person who assisted me, Jovon was very knowledgeable and friendly. I have to say, I went to another dealer that I won't call out on their lack of "Courtesy" and while the sales person was great, the other staff I encountered and the way they treated me made me reconsider my out on their lack of "Courtesy" and while the sales person was great, the other staff I encountered and the way they treated me made me reconsider my purchase. So, I came in to Ferman on a Sunday, with an idea that I would just check out the certified used Traverse I had seen on the website, and take a little time to continue shopping as well as make a decision. I know my credit is pretty bad and I haven't worked on it enough to be where I need to to purchase a vehicle easily, despite working on paying things off for a year now, but with the addition of a third child to our family, the third row just couldn't wait anymore. I came in with a large down payment that I had saved, and was prepared to be treated like I would expect any sales person who is dealing with someone with my financial situation to treat me, but to my surprise, Brandon treated me like any other deal, even after I mistakenly walked into the new sales building! He was very honest, personable, and so incredibly helpful! He ran back and forth between the used and new buildings, got the Traverse and handled the deal while My husband and I sat comfortably at his desk and didn't have to do much of anything! The process was so smooth, and he even told me what my credit score was and gave me a realistic picture of what it looks like to the dealership, assuring me that it really wasn't even as bad as I thought. I felt valued and positive, and I felt so great that I was able to take the first of many steps to continue improving my credit and eventually be able to purchase a new vehicle! Honestly, the quality (a price) of the Traverse made me fall in love instantly, and the reason I decided to purchase right then was 100% because of how non-invasive and willing to help Brandon was. He stayed even through some of the AFC Championship (GO Bucs!) that he was clearly decked out in Bucs gear and I can guess was wanting to watch, and I didn't even realize ti or feel rushed to make a decision in any way because he was so patient and kind. I really felt like he leveled with me and my husband, and our needs and helped us meet them efficiently and effectively! Juan in finance was super pleasant and had no problem working with me and my financial situation, and made me feel like a normal person as well, by not making me feel like he was "doing me a favor" as the other dealership had acted for a car of the same price range, simply by trying to get a loan for me, despite having $10,000 to put down on the vehicle. He also was extremely personable, and got me approved on a Sunday, which the other dealership said wasn't possible. It was truly a seamless and great process for me, and I may just be a Chevy girl for life now! I had never considered Chevy before, as I had a relative who retired from a CEO position out of country for Ford, but this experience and the people who made me feel like a human, really made all the difference. Sales through service is a truly powerful concept when practiced effectively, and both Brandon and Juan exemplified that in every aspect! I know I didn't get a new car, but I can assure you, I will next time, and I'll be referring anyone who's in the market to the people at Ferman, specifically Brandon, for years to come! Thank you so much! More
