Horrendous experience, I purchased a 2023 Ford Maverick from Windward Ford after being assured the vehicle had been inspected and was ready for sale. Before delivery, a major leak was discovered that shoul from Windward Ford after being assured the vehicle had been inspected and was ready for sale. Before delivery, a major leak was discovered that should have been identified during any legitimate inspection. After the dealership kept the vehicle for repairs and represented that the issue had been resolved, the truck became inoperable after only six days of use and had to be towed. A second Ford dealership has since identified additional concerns, including evidence of poor workmanship and missing components. I am now facing further diagnostic costs on a vehicle that was sold as inspected and roadworthy. Throughout this process, Windward Ford has failed to provide clear answers regarding the condition of the vehicle at the time of sale and has focused more on attacking me personally than addressing the serious issues with the truck.. I’ve been out thousands of dollars and no working vehicle and raking with emails calls as they have never taken accountability. They are dishonest and never never purchase a vehicle here. I’m horrified by how I was treated and records show they never properly inspected the vehicle were dishonest and did very poor work (parts of the car are actually missing) and they lied to me the whole way thru More

Joshua Nielson Willis was the person we worked with and he was excellent! BUT with Winward Ford, the vehicle was not cleaned (inside), and the fenders were not replaced to be street legal and the license p he was excellent! Windward Ford has probably been the worst dealership I have been to. I bought a 24 Ranger Lariat back in September of last year and the external run window moldings had some cuts and marks. We both agree have been to. I bought a 24 Ranger Lariat back in September of last year and the external run window moldings had some cuts and marks. We both agreed that the Dealer would replace the run window moldings at a later date when parts were available. It is the end of March and the parts are apparently available with the Manager stating that he was saving me the last one that came in. This is after getting the run around since the purchase of the vehicle to inquire about the parts availability. I took the vehicle in today to get the parts installed and to address the two recent recalls (side airbags and trailer module reprogram) with an appointment for 9am. The service department closes at 530pm and I get no calls about the status of my vehicle. I had to call the sales department several times at 530pm to see what was going on, and finally they told me that they had an issue with one of the recalls but it should be done within the next ten minutes. They had to give the paperwork to the sales department because of the service department closing. After inspection, the headliner was installed correctly, but the headliner was dirty from installation. I could not inspect the work because nobody was there for me to point them out and all the lights were off outside because of the service department being closed. Really disappointed in the communication and the overall work associated with the recalls. At least clean up the mess that was made from the work, but now I will have to spend more of my time to clean the truck and hopefully the stains will come off of the headliner. Serious communication issues and customer service is abysmal. The Managers are never there and when you talk to someone, they pawn you off to a different department and then back to the same one until you get frustrated enough to hang the phone up. The person that was helping you out the most will mysteriously quit which will lead to starting over again with the issue you want them to fix. They don’t care about cleanliness after a service and you are left with a dirtier vehicle after the service. More

Since purchasing my Ranger in 2023, I've turned to this dealer ship to service my vehicle on a routine basis. They're in my neighborhood so its very easy and convenient. I select when I want to bring it in. I drop it off at their service counter to a friendly and professional staff. They tell me the time for the work and call me typically when they predicted. Lots of choices for coffee, breakfast, or lunch within walking distance of the dealer here in Kailua town. Good service, convenient, and easy. What more do you want? More

The new management is definitely making a huge difference, Angela (the GM) is making so many changes for the better, the biggest is the brand new off site service center that will allow them to fi difference, Angela (the GM) is making so many changes for the better, the biggest is the brand new off site service center that will allow them to finally provide quality service in a timely fashion and free up much needed space on the lot. The showroom is getting a face-lift and being updated and there is now a lot of new staff who actually seem to want to be there. When you walk in the store now you can actually feel the difference in the air, people greet you with a smile, make you feel welcome and don't make you feel like just another customer. We now own two Fords, an Explorer and a Mach E and dont dread taking the car in for service now. I would definitely recommend that if you are looking for a car to give Windward Ford a chance. I am glad I did. More
