I went to Lundgren Honda in Auburn 3 times between September & October 2019 looking for a 2017 Honda CRV, they didn't have any as I wanted one with leather seats. In November my son in law knew of one September & October 2019 looking for a 2017 Honda CRV, they didn't have any as I wanted one with leather seats. In November my son in law knew of one in Warwick RI at the Mercedes Benz place I went down there and bought a Touring. In Feb 2020 I went in to see the original salesman I had spoken to and he came out to the car and showed me how to make some changes with my settings. I went back to Lundgren on July 15 and 4 men were sitting at the desk I asked to see the man who changed my settings and he was busy. Chuck Shearns asked where I bought the car, never looking up at me and I told him and he said why didn't you go back there or call them and I said it was just a quick question. He told me to sit and wait, he never made eye contact with me, just kept his eyes on what he was doing not looking up at me once. Shortly I believe it was Frank Mazzeo came over and said he'd look at it and he reset my settings in a matter of 2 minutes. I intended to bring it there whenever I needed service/repairs/oil changes but the impression I strongly got was that I should not bring the car into Lundgren for service because I didn't buy it there. My husband had a Honda Civic that was bought somewhere else and brought it to Lundgren for service when it needed anything. I might add I am in my mid 70's and my husband of 55 years died on July 2nd and my dog died July 10th, I visited Lundgren on July 15th. I was already having a difficult time coping and certainly didn't need a man to ask where I bought the car and did I call that dealer about what I needed. Maybe its that I was a woman or that I was a senior citizen. I am so grateful to Mr. Mazzeo for stepping up and helping me! I rated 5 stars for Mr. Mazzeo but I assure you I give the other man no stars at all for Customer service and friendliness he would deserve no stars at all! He humiliated me and made me feel I was so unimportant to even look up at me! More

Outstanding Service! I must highly commend Dan Kristoff, Derek Simpson and the service department staff for their work on my used SUV that I purchased at Lundgren in Augus I must highly commend Dan Kristoff, Derek Simpson and the service department staff for their work on my used SUV that I purchased at Lundgren in August. They chased a problem that was not easy to find, but stayed on it, diagnosed it and fixed it. They kept me informed through the whole process and couldn't have been nicer. The entire service experience was outstanding and better than I have had at any dealership anywhere, anytime before. I highly recommend the Lundgren service department for any type of repair or maintenance no matter where you bought your vehicle. More

Great, honest people I worked closely with this dealership on an internal marketing project. Mike was knowledgeable, helpful, and the project was a huge success. Why doe I worked closely with this dealership on an internal marketing project. Mike was knowledgeable, helpful, and the project was a huge success. Why does this matter when you are buying or servicing here? Because when you know people are experts at what they do, and honest when out of the public eye, that's how you know they will treat your car buying experience with the same straightforward professionalism. They used to be good, but STAY AWAY now! I know this is long, but it's worth the read to get all the details of everything that they did to me. Apparently if you get mistreated here, you wil I know this is long, but it's worth the read to get all the details of everything that they did to me. Apparently if you get mistreated here, you will be blamed and worse you will be told not to come back to their dealership because you had the nerve to complain about being mistreated. I went there to look at a pre owned Crosstour. It was advertised for 23k. I told the sales person Jayson Navarro to only send the deal to HONDA. DO NOT shot gun this deal out to other places. He said they wouldn't. The sales person was juggling way too many customers and left me sitting alone for long periods of time, while other sales people sat idle. Jayson Navarro the sale person kept telling me lies, like "Trading your car in will save you 3 months payments". I asked how? Are you giving me 90 days free payments? He said no. I said then how is it saving me 3 months payments? He said it just is. When a final price came down for the Crosstour payments it was too expensive. (Little did I know it was because they secretly jacked up the price of the car by 4 thousand dollars and submitted it as selling me the Crosstour for 27 THOUSAND dollars. 4 thousand more than the price on the car. I was about 1900 to 2200 upside down in my car, which they could bury in the Crosstour without having to jack up the price of it 4 THOUSAND dollars. So anyway I decide to find out how much the cost of a new CRV is instead. Jayson comes back and tells me 633.00 a month on a 2018 CRV EX. I laughed at him and said no way. He starts pushing the Crosstour at me again, I said no I don't want it. I want a CRV. He leaves me alone again for a long time, I do a google search and find there are several other dealerships that are doing true no money down lease on CRV for WAY less than what Jayson just quoted me. Like 450 a month for an EXL versus 633 a month he quoted me for an EX I showed him the prices on line from other dealerships and off he went again. After a few more hours and wrangling I finally get them down to 459 a month and agree to buy it. Jayson completely blew the delivery, spent more time begging me to give him 5 stars on reviews than he did actually delivering the car. He spent about 5 minutes showing me how to set up bluetooth connection to my phone, and then back to begging me to log in here and leave 5 stars, and bugging me to please please give him a score of 10 across the board when Honda sent me a survey, then left me alone in the service area and said "take as long as you need to finish setting up your car". I sat there alone feeling weird being in the service area. So I exited the building and sat outside for nearly 30 minutes alone setting up stuff on the car by myself while Jayson and everyone else hopped in their cars and left a customer sitting there alone on the lot. Once they get the money they don't care. I get home and find a big black scuff on my rear quarter panel that I did not notice during delivery. I text Jayson a photo and he says don't worry we will take care of that I will make sure of it when you come back in for registration and inspection. I also noticed they had put SO much slime on the tires that both sides of the car was COVERED in it and I immediately had to go wash it. To back track a little Jayson also has me sit down with an insurance guy they have there. Allstate. I said no way you can beat Ameriprise, he says let me try. I said ok sure I dare you, you won't be able to beat what I pay.He didnt even bother to contact me and let me know I had to ask Jayson, and it turned out nope couldn't do it. I told the guy PLEASE do not send me emails or letters asking me to get insurance with you, you just proved you can't beat it. He says ok he promises he wont. But I got emails from him anyway asking me to go with Allstate. I said yea ok if I decide I want to pay more for less coverage I'll call you. A couple days go by and I start getting letters from insurance companies telling me before I register my car, get a quote with them. So I KNOW it has to be Lundgren who sold my information to these insurance companies, the car isn't even registered yet, literally nobody even knows I have it yet, not even motor vehicle! NO WAY did I consent to have my information sent out to insurance companies. I was never told that it would be, but clearly it was. Not long after that, letters started coming from banks and credit unions declining financing on a 27 thousand dollar Honda Crosstour. Which had me confused because I looked at one that was 23 thousand. So clearly not only did they shot gun the deal out to every bank possible violating my clear request to use HONDA ONLY, they jacked up the price of the car by 4 THOUSAND dollars without telling me. After 6 days my registration still was not ready, so I texted Jayson and said look this HAS to get done, I have 1 more day legally and I'm busy Saturday. He said ok bring it in today we'll get it done today. I take it in to the service bays, I specifically tell the service guy there is a scuff on the rear quarter it was delivered to me that way. Jayson said you guys would buff it out. The service guy Eric says ok no problem we'll take care of it. I went to the service waiting area to wait, and not long later they brought me the registration and the keys and Eric said they took care of the scuff too. I went out to my car and looked, the scuff was still clearly visible. I was in a rush and did not have time to go back in again and wrangle with them about it. 10 minutes later Jayson calls me and asks did they buff out the scuff I said no. He says oh ok well they will do it next time you come in. I said what? At the oil change in 6 months or so? He says yes or you can come back sooner. He says maybe they didnt buff it out in fear they would hurt the paint. Is said can you find out? He says yes I will let you know. Days go by, not a peep out of Jayson. I finally text him and ask and he says no they did not buff the car to get the scuff off they just wiped it down instead. They didnt want to hurt the paint. Which is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Yet another lie. A few days later I got the email from Honda about the purchase and delivery of the car, and I am not a liar I answered the questions honestly despite Jaysons begging me to do otherwise. I graded him as he deserved to be graded for what he did. 2 days later Jayson CALLS me puts me on the spot, and whines and complains that my review cost him money, and tries to make me feel guilty saying I hurt his family, and that I hurt the dealership and the GM Chuck who had helped me out. I was livid. That was so wrong so unprofessional. I emailed Chuck and told him about it and he told me Jayson shouldn't have done that. Fast forward to today, July 11, 2018, I emailed Matt the sales manager and Chuck the GM to let them know I am not happy about the whole mess. The lying, the selling my info to car insurance companies without my permission or even telling me, failure to properly deliver the car to me, failure to clean off the scuff when I went back etc the whole 9 yards. And what do I hear back? An email from the GM Chuck Shearns telling me off, telling me I am the most ungrateful customer he's ever met. Seriously? I'm ungrateful? I am grateful they helped me get a new car, but I am NOT grateful for being lied to, mistreated and my information sold without my permission, my loan sent out to dozens of banks when I asked they not do that. Ungrateful? Not me. Ungrateful would be them, I have sent in customers stayed loyal even after this happened . I was not even going to write this honest review because I did not want to hurt the dealership and give them a chance to get themselves together. But if this is how they are going to treat me after I've been mistreated? Nope we're done. Chuck also demanded I immediately pay for accessories for my car that I supposedly owed for. I do not owe Lundgren one single penny for accessories or anything else. The fact he demanded immediate payment for accessories I didn't even get just shows Chuck has no idea what is going on there. OR someone lied to him and told him I got accessories. When I bought my first car there in 2015 I had said I'd be a Lundgren customer for life. But now after the place has continually gone down hill, good employees are leaving, and the GM defends people who mistreat and lie to customers? Yea Im completely done I wont ever go back. Really sad. Back in 2015 they were incredible. They had the bluewave cafe with food that could rival some of the better restaurants in the area, now its nasty food. In 2015 Sales and Service were bustling but people were happy and nice and treated customers really well. They had free water, snacks and soda for customers too. They even used to do a free dinner for new car owners. They don't do that anymore either, because the good employee they had that hosted it for them is no longer there. I can only imagine why. Probably quit due to the BS going on. Now? it's really bad. Some sales people sat idle on Saturdays doing nothing. they are not selling anywhere near what they used to, service department is very slow compared to what it used to be. No free water, no snacks nothing except a container of warm nasty lemon water and the food at the cafe is awful. So if you go to Lundgren, be prepared to be swindled, lied to, mistreated, and your information will be sold without your knowledge or permission to god only knows who. Your requests wont be honored and if you dare complain about it like I did, you will get told off and told don't come back. Message received loud and clear Chuck Shearns I won't be back and I will make sure EVERYONE possible knows how I was treated and what you've all done. Lundgren used to be a good place to buy a car, but now it's gone very badly down hill, and it's 100% Chuck Shearns fault since he's the one in charge. I wish there was a way to leave photos here so I could show you the rude emails from Chuck, the text message lies from Jayson, and the scuff mark on my car. More
