Pro: Chris Perreault (sales) spent the majority of time with us (paperwork, including for discounts, test drive, etc). He was friendly, patient, personable, responsive to phone calls and emails, helpful. with us (paperwork, including for discounts, test drive, etc). He was friendly, patient, personable, responsive to phone calls and emails, helpful. Also Pro: Jimmy in finance helped me out when we decided to cancel a VSA. I stopped by and was on my way within 10min. I also think he was the one able to provide details on interest for financing when others weren't. Con: finance. We sat in awkward silence while the finance guy worked out payments under different scenarios. It was then up to us to undo the calculation to figure out the bottom line for each option (cost for gap coverage, tire, and VSA). We weren't given a brochure or info on the details of the VSA, even after we signed paperwork and left. It wasn't even explained in the meeting that there are two tiers. I'm pretty sure he said 'it covers everything'. I worked out the line items the day after signing with info I found online (not necessarily up to date), comparing gold with platinum, looked at the average yearly cost of repairs for my make and model. I found online VSA at Toyota are cancellable (full refund within 30 days!). We decided to cancel, and had difficulty going directly to the finance employee who had worked with us/he didn't answer email or phone call as quickly as I'd like (I ended up just walking in at opening to cancel it, which was effective). We also were not given details about how interest was calculated. This gave me a small heart attack when I realized interest for auto loans is typically frontloaded (we're not planning on keeping the loan to term). Thankfully, Bristol Toyota doesn't finance this way. I had to ask directly when we went to pick up the car, after financing. Simple interest, calculated daily. Minor con: we worked with 3 sales reps on 3 days. I'd just ask for Chris in the future, though I'm not sure it really matters much when you already know what you're there for. Overall, highly recommend Bristol Toyota. Ask for Chris, sales and Jimmy, finance. Hope this helps! More
