I was born and raised here in Charlotte. I enjoy antique cars, golf and of course spending time with my wonderful wife and our two children (who need new shoes). I like classic Rock and Roll and one day I'd like to attend Le Mans for the 24 hour event and see a Formula 1 race while on the Continent.

The most fun I've ever had buying a car was at Subaru South Charlotte after SUV shopping for 3 weeks. The sales team, Michael, Neal and TJ are fantastic and went above and beyond when considering my choice of SUV with my trade and monthly payment. TJ took his time showing me new and used cars, describing all of the features and packages in each and every car. He knows these cars bumper to bumper because he's owned and drives Subaru for years. It matters. You're not going to see the sales team at Subaru South Charlotte working at Nissan in 2 months. Their knowledge and love of these cars is right in line with all the reviews you will read about Subaru when you're considering luxury, reliability, durability and technology. The Used Subaru resale value is strong because they have a long reliable life and you can see it in the confidence and joy of the sales team. A very big thank you for what I consider a great deal on a my new 2025 Subaru Outback! More

I was so" impressed" with this company, starting by the salesperson Mr. Jonah Johnson, by the new car manager Mr. Robert Nicholson, by the sales consultant/ instructor Mr. Matt Schepers, by the floor manag salesperson Mr. Jonah Johnson, by the new car manager Mr. Robert Nicholson, by the sales consultant/ instructor Mr. Matt Schepers, by the floor manager Mr. Neal Weinstein, and by the Finance Manager Chris Stone, EVERYONE went above and beyond to give me an excellent A+ service. I visited 4 different dealers on that day and finally decided to lease a Subaru SUV Forester, very happy with my choice and very happy with the service I received. I am a very happy customer and also very proud of them for loving pets, they are the largest corporate donor to ASPCA and their dedication to their partner CMPD ANIMAL CONTROL which is amazing. I was even given 2 Subaru dog toys by Mr. Weinstein for my dogs Addie and Goldie. They even have a doggy park at Subaru South Charlotte. I was truly impressed and flabbergasted by their approach on how they showcased their vehicles making them safe, reliable and well made. So please don't wait anymore and go get your new "Subie", Aside from having a wonderful experience throughout my visit I was happy to find out after their presentation on how Subaru is one of the safest brands out on the market and I am looking forward to riding soon with my grandkids and dogs! Thank you, Subaru South Charlotte. More

Had car problems two times going to Charlotte Airport which is 2 l/2 hrs each way for me. Husband was taken to hospital in Texas and had to rush home. Had to leave car in long term parking but arrange with dealership to look at the car if a friend brought it to them. Had all relevant information. After promising me they would they refused - costing her four hours of travel. Now I have no way to get my car. More

The best experience at a dealership ever Nothing but perfection. Also worked with sales man Scott Redfeildt and he is the absolute best to work with. He listened and delivered exactly what I Nothing but perfection. Also worked with sales man Scott Redfeildt and he is the absolute best to work with. He listened and delivered exactly what I wanted and he was wonderful to work with. We made the deal super late. And they stayed with us 2 hours after closing. They explained all the extras... Here is the key though. They didn't try to sale me! They were straight up honest. I love them and love my new car! You will too! DO NOT GO TO MAZADA OF SOUTH CHARLOTTE THEY SUCK. More

Wife and I visited this dealership not really knowing what we wanted, including even anything within the brand. We narrowed down our options pretty quickly to either a CrossTek or an Outback. We really what we wanted, including even anything within the brand. We narrowed down our options pretty quickly to either a CrossTek or an Outback. We really were horrible with deciding what we wanted. We placed a verbal order for an Outback, got the price consessions we were looking for. The day we went to pick it up we decided on our way to the dealership that we wanted to take another look at the Crosstek. When we we say the lease costs for the Crosstek (higher than the outback) we were flamoxed and decided to do nothing (more time to think). After leaving the dealership we received a call from Chris who sweetened the deal on the Outback even more. We uturned, went back to the dealer, and closed the deal. If anything, we (the customer) were an undecided, flip-flopping pain in the neck. The whole time Chris was very matter of fact. Not once did he show any signs of anxiety. Not the case for us... Along the lines of price, we did our research on kbb.com and pretty much knew what the going market/street price was for the car we configured. When we presented the price we were willing to pay there were no issues. Prior to the price "presentation" there was a little bit of the old school "let me check with my manager to see what we can do on the price". That ended quickly once I presented my offer (instead of the other way around). Overall, they went through enough of the details/features of the care to get me going. Chris followed up a week later to see how things were going... which was nice. I did take the opportunity to ask him a question about the rear seat belt... it just saved my from looking it up in the owners manual. The "finance experience" was very low pressure... they pretty much knew we were the kind of customer that didn't go for the extended warranty pitch, so they didn't make it. I was surprised and even asked what happened to it! Overall, once we made up our mind what WE wanted, the purchase experience was uneventful, no-pressure and low stress. It was not the typical dreaded car purchase experience. More
