THE ONLY REVIEW YOU NEED TO READ IF YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT CLINTON HONDA. As a first time car buyer, I can tell you that it's a bit of an intimidating process. It's unfortunate that there is a TRUTH ABOUT CLINTON HONDA. As a first time car buyer, I can tell you that it's a bit of an intimidating process. It's unfortunate that there is a stigma around car salesman and dealerships, specifically how they may be deceitful in an effort to line their own pockets, because the team at Clinton Honda has an overwhelming amount of integrity, character, and genuine passion for helping their customers that you can feel immediately upon walking in the front door. The Clinton Honda dealership is a team comprised of seasoned professionals that helped put my mind at ease at I tried to figure out how to get a new vehicle at rapid pace after I was in a bad accident that totaled my car. They not only stayed open late to get me my new wheels, they went above and beyond with communication throughout the entire afternoon leading up to my purchase while I was busy at work. I have no stake in the game here, and this is a very real review from a very real person. My name is Eric Flood and I am a Class A PGA Professional at a golf club in Northern Jersey. Clinton Honda is an incredible dealership with real experts who are trustworthy and passionate about helping their customers. I wouldn't waste time going anywhere else if you're looking for a new vehicle. As a fellow customer service professional, I tend to look at other customer service experts with a microscope. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine courtesy and professionalism. Our salesman, Bud, was exceptionally knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to explain every detail about the Honda Passport and making sure we were completely comfortable with our decision. His friendliness, honesty, and attention to detail made the entire process both enjoyable and stress-free. My Wife and I just purchased our first Honda from Mike at Clinton Honda, and we were extremely happy with the process. Mike and the team there worked with us and got us to the number we were comfortable with Clinton Honda, and we were extremely happy with the process. Mike and the team there worked with us and got us to the number we were comfortable with for the new vehicle. While we were looking at other vehicles, Mike kept in contact with us to let us know what deals were still available at the time. Went here because it was close. BIG MISTAKE! Bought other Honda at Phillpsburg-Easton Honda should have gone the extra 15-20 miles. My wife and I test drove a Civic Hatchback (gray) BIG MISTAKE! Bought other Honda at Phillpsburg-Easton Honda should have gone the extra 15-20 miles. My wife and I test drove a Civic Hatchback (gray) we decided to buy one (black). I told the sales person this when we test drove the gray one. I called a few days later to say we would take the black one that just came in he said ok I’ll get the black one ready for you. I also tell him we’re going to put 15,000 down and I will pay tax, tags, and other expenses on separately. I stop by to sign some paperwork I ask let’s see the car before I sign it’s the gray one oops he switched the paperwork. Then I go to pick up the car the next day the finance guy was ok. I get the car home and they scorched the clear coat on the rear of the car and I told them I didn’t want a dealer sticker on the car they took it off but they didn’t use a heat gun to soften the glue it was scratched. They said they would fix it but I didn’t trust them. As someone who has been living within 5 miles from them I started asking around about their service staff. Was told by many local automotive and auto body owners they said stay far away do it yourself or go to another dealer. I have bought at Phillipsburg-Easton Honda and I will be going back to them. Well lesson learned. It’s my own fault I should’ve done my due diligence before hand. This would not have happened at Phillipsburg-Easton Honda. More
