This dealership isn't even worth a lengthy review. The only person I've dealt with that has been a pleasure to work with is Robin Mayberry. They don't deserve her! only person I've dealt with that has been a pleasure to work with is Robin Mayberry. They don't deserve her! More

TOYOTA OF MIDLAND HAS NO INTEGRITY. Two weeks ago we decided we were going to trade in our 2019 Chevy Silverado LTZ for a smaller more gas efficient car. Like most in the Permian the downturn in the oil decided we were going to trade in our 2019 Chevy Silverado LTZ for a smaller more gas efficient car. Like most in the Permian the downturn in the oil market has hit our family hard. We decided we wanted to get a used certified vehicle to lower our payment and get better gas mileage so we started our search local. My wife wanted to test drive a Camry among other cars. We went to Toyota of Midland to test drive one on their lot. We decided it was too small but we saw a Honda CRV and it was on our list of cars to test drive. We asked to look at it and they offered to give us a test drive. After driving it my wife decided she really liked it but we really wanted to go with a certified car. The salesman told us to wait, there is no big difference between used certified and this car. He told us their service department does a 100+ point inspection on their used cars and assured us this was a quality and safe vehicle. We trusted them, our first BIG mistake. We purchased the car and took it home. The next weekend we decided to take a trip to Ruidoso for a 3 day weekend with our 2 year old, 14 year old and two dogs. To this point the CRV had only been driven back and forth to drop our son off at school the entire time we had it. During the trip we noticed the entertainment system was glitching out but we thought “no big deal, we will take it in to get fixed when we get back”. Then when we would idle the air condition would make a terrible sound. Again we said to ourselves it isn’t a big deal we will get it fixed at the same time as the entertainment system. Then things went south, on our way back to home, in between Seminole and Midland a semi-truck passes us. When the gush of air hit the car it ripped the skid plate under the car off in the front and made it slam into the pavement. The sound at 75 miles per hour sounds like the hood was about to come off the car. I quickly pulled over, on a two lane, 75 mph speed limit road with traffic blowing past us on a nonexistent shoulder. After seeing what had happened I thought, this is not safe to drive, if this skid plate detaches it can cause a blow out and make us wreck. But being it West Texas, we had no cell phone service. We were stranded and the only option was to drive the car back as slowly as possible. After we got back we took the CRV straight back to Toyota of Midland and explained to them what happened. We told them this car is not safe and we did not feel comfortable driving it. We asked them to refund us the sales price on the car and we would get something else. This was when Toyota of Midland’s fangs came out. In comes their used car manager. After explaining to him what happened he tells us he will not buy the car back at the sales price and asked us if we took the car to HONDA to be looked at!!!! We informed him no, we bought it here so we brought it here. He ended up getting short with us because in his words “your wife is being hostile”! My wife was very upset as I think any rational person would be when something like that happens with your entire family in the car. He then said they would have their master mechanic look at it and give it a thorough inspection and it would solve the problem. We told them no, that would not solve the problem because you told us that was done before we bought the car. I told him the issue that needed to be fixed was not the car. The issue needing fixed was the violation of our trust and the way to fix it was to take the car back and give us our money back. I explained to him, they bought our Chevy for $44,000 which was the payoff amount. They had it listed for $52,000 and sold it in less than a week. The sales price for the CRV was $27,000 and we bought the service package on the CRV for about $3,500. The total amount on the loan is $31,000. The service package is refundable if you do not use it for the term so they could refund the service package and the difference would be about $500-$1,000. It fell on deaf ears. Even though they would still have made money on the deal, their profit was WAY more important than us. He told me he would not do it and he could just tell me to “Jump off a Bridge”. Which I told him, yes that is what you are doing so I am going to leave this car here and when it is fixed you can call me. He had the nerve to tell me, “that is your car and it is your responsibility, if you leave it here I will tow it”!! From there we talked our way up the management chain. I even spoke to the General Manager and offered to pay the difference between the loan payoff and the purchase price of the car just so I never had to deal with them again. The General Manager was so kind he told me he would call me back but instead had the used car manager call me. He told me, I will give you $25k for the CRV! They wanted to take us for more money. The NERVE OF THESE PEOPLE!! I can’t tell you not to do business with Toyota of Midland but I will never every do business with these people again. You have been warned. More

Completely awful experience: REPEATED (4x) overpromise and under-delivery on requested information and return communication from sales rep Robin, and her “manager“, Chris. Insight: IMMEDIATELY after a and under-delivery on requested information and return communication from sales rep Robin, and her “manager“, Chris. Insight: IMMEDIATELY after a vehicle showed up on my purchase watchlist, I called and made a full price offer to buy it, along with an extra warranty and protection packages, if available from this dealership. The vehicle was a 2015 GMC Yukon XL Denali 4WD with the miles/trim/packages criteria I was looking for (AT listingId 552694070). 24 hours after waiting, I’m informed by email it’s in the shop having a recall cured. Fine, let me know about putting down a deposit or financing. Another EIGHT hours of waiting, called and left voicemails with reception. Promises for callback, LIES! Copied to people and phone called, more than eight communications over 48 hours, nothing wasted promises on taking a deposit or putting my name on the vehicle. I made it clear from the beginning that was my goal and there is 0% chance anything was miscommunicated (listened to my own call recordings!) Finally, on the third day of attempting to purchase the vehicle, I called and requested an escalation for a callback. Was able to schedule a time to speak with someone on the phone (Chris), who informed me the vehicle was then “under contract”. COMPLETE GARBAGE! IMHO: Just a bunch of lazy, mediocre employees at a half-grade car-lot. Big waste of time for professionals looking to do business and spend money. More
