I’ve been proud to call Schomp my home for more than 16 years. Prior to working at Schomp, I was a service manager at Montgomery Ward for 12 years. I grew up in Englewood, Colorado and am a true Colorado native. I enjoy playing golf, going to my son’s sporting events and spending time with my family. I like all Denver sports teams, but CU football has to be my favorite.

TERRIBLE. the service department is not so bad, service was ok. (this in not a reflection of the service advisor or his work) what was the downhill side of it the service department is not so bad, service was ok. (this in not a reflection of the service advisor or his work) what was the downhill side of it was the loaner fleet and the service manager. They are taking me to court for their incompetence and LACK of accountability. I had my 2017 BMW x3 m-sport serviced there. during that time i had a Loaner, during my usage a crack had developed on the windshield. I had instructed them to use my insurance. that's where it all started. The loaner manager and service manager failed to communicate with my insurance (as they were only asking for a few documents for coverage, which was not provided by them) After them NOT providing any information, they send me papers stating i have to pay the amount of about 1,000 by the date that was listed. I had called my insurance, AND the dealership to try and figure out what was going on, and come to find out the DEALERSHIP was not cooperating with my insurance. they had told me that my insurance was NOT going to cover it and ceased involvement. Which was not true. They had made contact, and since Documents were NOT provided by BMW my insurance company Had deemed "excess" coverage until notified otherwise. which they were not. Finally after fighting the dealership to provide the documents to my insurance. my insurance had sent out the payment, and I in charge of the deductible. after MUTIPLE calls to the service manger about paying the deductible with NO return phone call, I ceased communication with them. they are now taking me to court for the FULL amount after accepting payment from my insurance company without any Communication from the dealership. I work for the Toyota Motor corporation, I know how things go, I'm not stupid. However Schomp BMW seems to be out for everyone's money with no remorse. I have a 60k vehicle that I paid cash for, I have no Qualms of paying a 500.00 bill for my deductible, but when the dealership that is requesting the money ISNT RESPONDING TO MY COMMUNICATION ATTEPMTS I cannot make the payment. All around just Terrible experience. That Dealership has gotten Well over 10k worth of repairs on my vehicle alone and yet they cant make a simple phone call, Text message and or email (which i have TOLD them multiple times that they are free to do so) I work down the street from BMW of Denver, And CHOSE to go out of my way to have Schomp BMW service my car. But since they are not Adequate enough to handle a Simple windshield claim. I would advise EVERYONE to be leery on Servicing their car there.... or at least obtaining a Loaner, As they might try to come after you for something so Elementary. To top it all off they CASHED the check from my insurance and STILL are coming after me for the FULL amount of the windshield. I find it funny as I attempted to Pay my side of the bill. with a simple request of negotiation on it due to the Hassle they put me through. xxxx poor customer Service on the Service managers end and the Loaner managers accountability. I brought a 3 series diesel in. The quote was 2,900. The advisor had over $1000 worth of parts on the invoice that the vehicle didn’t even have. On top of that they reset my performance tune, also my sunroo advisor had over $1000 worth of parts on the invoice that the vehicle didn’t even have. On top of that they reset my performance tune, also my sunroof was not working along with me radio when I took possession of vehicle, they were working before they touched it. $1900 to replace my fuse box? Then I had to tow it if their lot because they erased my software and got it stuck in limp mode. I had it fixed by self in 30 min in my drive way. More

Have had our BMW in three times for an oil leak. Wen to pick up today as they said it was all fixed. Did not even take our car off the lot as it still had leakage. Do not have a lot of confidence in their pick up today as they said it was all fixed. Did not even take our car off the lot as it still had leakage. Do not have a lot of confidence in their mechanics at this time. More

Bought a brand new 2021 BMW X5 40i. Had it for about 3 months. Been in the service twice. The first time was for glitches (a couple of weeks after we bought it (brand new!)... put a drink in the drink ho months. Been in the service twice. The first time was for glitches (a couple of weeks after we bought it (brand new!)... put a drink in the drink holder and it screwed with the radio station. My husband brushed his hand against the gear selector, changing the radio station and it pops out of gear. We brought it home, but those problems still occur. We decided to 'live with it.' A couple of days ago, we're driving home and we get a pop-up and it says the steering wheel is malfunctioning, that's there's something wrong with the power supply and to pull over immediately. Luckily we were almost home, so we parked in front of our house. We called BMW roadside assistance (it was Monday), and they took it to BMW. I made an 8 am appointment for Tuesday to have it serviced. We go in and we've been assigned Chris Adams. He looked at his notes and said you have an issue with... he named 2 things. I told him there were multiple issues, and I was explaining all the problems, he was doodling, rather than inputting data into the computer. When we asked for a loaner he laughed and said we would have to have Millions of cars available to give everyone a loaner. The general feeling was "Go, leave me alone, don't call us - we'll call you." My husband said why did we even come down here for this appointment. And Chris just shrugged as if to say, " I wish you hadn't." So when we got home I called BMW and asked to speak to the service manager. He called me back. His name is Chis Erickson. I explained the whole situation to him - mainly that we had a brand new luxury BMW that apparently is too dangerous to drive, but also the customer service experience was appalling... and, lastly, the fact that Chis Adams, laughed when we asked for a loaner. Chris spent a long time talking about the 'car loan' policy and seemed to miss my point that I was most upset at being laughed at and disrespected. Chris Erickson said," Well, I was going to go down your list of complaints, but I couldn't get a word in edge-wise." So his response to my complaint about being disrespected is to disrespect me. A few other words were exchanged, I asked for both names so I could mention them in the review and ended the call. There were other condescending things Chris Erickson said, like, "I understand it's difficult when your car is in service for repairs." I said, no -- it's upsetting when you buy a brand new luxury BMW for 80K and then something pops up on your screen that it is too dangerous to drive. And it's upsetting that when we brought it in 2 months ago for electrical issues -- that those issues are still happening. This is not a 20-year-old car. It's a 2012 BMW X5 40i - the ultimate driving machine - that has less than five thousand miles on it. Schomp BMW Highlands Ranch you all need a refresher course in what constitutes excellent customer service. A reminder: be empathetic and proactive (offer solutions!) ... what not to be: disrespectful and condescending. More
