I've had my vehicle serviced at this location multiple times, the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and they work very quickly. I was blown away by the stellar customer service. Typical crooked and aggressive, give a good company a bad name. They are the type of people that you can bring in a foggy headlamp asking for it to be replaced and then they will charge you $1710 for replaci name. They are the type of people that you can bring in a foggy headlamp asking for it to be replaced and then they will charge you $1710 for replacing the whole casing. Then when questioning the bill you will find them rude and unhelpful. They will actively look to find ways to overcharge and then act as though this is normal. Charolene Smith was the representative that presented $1710 as "seventeen ten" knowing full well that we asked them to replace a foggy headlamp and so the price of $17.10 makes a lot more sense. Even when I said that was "so cheap we might as well go ahead", she offered no clarification even though I said no to other services that were less expensive. Then when asked about it she acted as though there was nothing that could be done about it. We will be advising anyone that will listen to avoid this Volkswagen service department at all costs. Again, they will actively seek ways to take advantage of any situation and then will be rude and indignant when they are called out for it. While not as much of an issue I was also treated poorly by Matt Wren who was needlessly aggressive and chimed in multiple times during a conversation with another employee a different department. He behavior was not in anyway indicative of good customer service and arguably a good representation of someone that should not be interacting with the public. With these experiences they have made it clear that they are not looking out for your best interest and will do whatever they can to ensure they get as much money from you as possible. The parts department was well staffed and reasonable people. No scams on that side of the wall, but with the Service Department run the way it is I'd rather get my parts from a junk yard. More

Charolene Smith (Service Manager) did a fantastic job with getting my VW Passat repaired. She squeezed me into the schedule, got my car repaired (wheel speed sensor) within one day, and contacted Allstat with getting my VW Passat repaired. She squeezed me into the schedule, got my car repaired (wheel speed sensor) within one day, and contacted Allstate and had them cover the repair through my extended warranty. She overly communicated and exceeded my expectations. Great job Charolene! More

While driving home from work Sunday morning (09/06/2020) my engine light comes on. I stopped by a local AutoZone and asked if they were able to do a diagnostic reading on my VW GTI . Due to covid 19 the em my engine light comes on. I stopped by a local AutoZone and asked if they were able to do a diagnostic reading on my VW GTI . Due to covid 19 the employee informed me they could not enter anyone's vehicle. But he informed me that I could use the reader and bring it back so that he could print out the results. The AutoZone employee printed out the sheet and explained to me that code P2015 indicated something was wrong with the intake manifold/sensor. I took a picture of the print out and sent it along with a text message to my VW Service Advisor (Ryan Parker). Now keep in mind this was on a Sunday. His day off. Ryan text me back informing me that he had seen that code before. He asked if I could bring it by the dealership first thing Tuesday morning due to Monday being Labor Day and their service department close. I dropped my vehicle off Tuesday morning and within a short time Ryan called informing me that it was the intake manifold and it was covered under Volkswagen warranty. Later on that evening Ryan called me back informing me that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I asked if it was alright to pick it up the next day and Ryan informed me that I could. Upon receiving my vehicle it had been washed. Which it really needed it (lol). Hats off to Ryan Parker for being such an outstanding VW Advisor and reaching out to me on his day off. Nothing but praise to the Outstanding Service Advisors at Village Volkswagen of Chattanooga Tennessee. Ryan Parker, Charolene Smith, Jacob Widener and Steve Gaverick.
