Superior sales reps at Morries 394 Hyundai We worked with Cesanne on deciding on a new Hyundai SUV. She has a wealth of information ready without having to look it up. She was thorough, went on test drives and answering questions along the way. Further excellent decision help was given by Ryan from the front desk. We made our choice on a new Hyundai Santa Fe and thought we were done but then by working with Peter in finance we were very pleasantly surprised in finalizing the deal. We had a question on winter for mats and that is where we met Mark in the parts department to answer that question. After all this we were taken to the service desk where we met Phil who gave us great assurance for further service work. All-in-all the people at Morries 394 Hyundai are top notch. We highly recommend them! More

Really? Decent selection of used cars, but unpleasant buying experience. Pricing is fair if the vehicle is in good condition, but don’t trust them to know if Decent selection of used cars, but unpleasant buying experience. Pricing is fair if the vehicle is in good condition, but don’t trust them to know if it is. The best thing I can say about the process is that it’s over. Nobody really seemed to know what was going on, where the car was, or what was needed. It seemed like any question I had needed to go through a chain of at least 3 people, and usually at least one link in that chain wasn’t there. I had to visit the dealership several more times than necessary because of this. Some employees didn’t seem to follow all of their standard procedures (keeping keys at their desk, which delayed being able to test drive while my sales rep had to go around asking half a dozen people), and some of the other sales reps seemed unprofessional, engaging in frat-boy-like ‘banter’ with each other and insulting other coworkers while I was sitting waiting for answers on the car. Totally unprofessional and made an unpleasant experience even worse. The sales reps helped me test drive any car that I asked to, but did not seem interested in finding out what I was looking for or recommending alternatives. They were personable and not pushy. Obviously they can’t be expected to know everything about a used vehicle, but they couldn’t tell me whether a major preventive service had been done on the car, and after calling the previous owner and finding out it hadn’t been done, refused to perform the service (which the car was 25,000 miles overdue for) prior to purchase, though they did lower the price of the vehicle marginally. I think the car would have been fairly priced had it had all of its factory-recommended preventive service performed. Buying a used car is never going to be fun, but if you need to go through this dealer, make sure you get a decent sales rep, do your own research and get the car checked out by an independent mechanic. You can probably find a decent car at a decent price here, but don’t expect it to be a pleasant process. More
