My intention was to purchase a new 2025 Camry hybrid. When I walked out of Sun Toyota, I felt as if I was going to have a stroke I was so angry! The sales-person was excellent, but when a young bearded fellow, about 23 years old came to our table and introduced himself as the sales manager, my jaw almost dropped. His LOWBALL offer on my trade-in vehicle was insultingly bad. He then increased the price of the Camry I wanted to buy using the advertised price on the dealership's website on this specific Camry, which he refused to honor, claiming that I had to meet certain criteria. The criteria he mentioned in a very condescending manner, was not shown with the vehicle's price. He claimed it was mentioned some other place on the website, like fine print. Later I noticed on the new car's window sticker there was a "market-adjustment" which added $4,999. I argued that I had gotten the correct price for my trade-in from Kelley Blue Book's website and the price for the new car was clearly stated on the Sun Toyota Website. I made a realistic fair offer to him for the car, but he wouldn't budge, instead asking for an additional $11,000 to the fair price I offered. I told him to just give me my keys since I was not going to be ripped off. He would not give me my trade-in vehicle keys, since after they valued my car, they hadn't returned them to me. I again asked for my keys so that I could leave. I did this quietly, without raising my voice. The sales-person went to retrieve my keys, as he was speaking to another fellow. This other fellow was also a manager, I had found out minutes later, had given me my car's keys. However, he not only gave me my keys, but also stated that he would take my fair offer and would knock off an additional $1,000 from the car's price due to my aggravation. I told him, "This is NOT about the money now. It's about principle and that young bearded sales-manager's rudeness. I stated to him politely, "I will never buy another vehicle from Sun Toyota again." I thanked him and walked out. The sales-person walked out with me. He almost pleaded with me to take the fair deal the 2nd sales-manager had offered me. I said, No. Because I had purchased nearly 10 vehicles from Sun Toyota in the past, he asked that I take the deal based on the friendship we had developed over the years. I finally said, "Okay". I went through with the purchase and did receive a fair deal on the 2025 Camry hybrid. On the hour long drive home, I thought about everything that had transpired on that day during that attempted purchase. I must say, kudos to the excellent sales-person and the 2nd sales-manager that did give me the fair deal. * I don't need the condescending attitude, nor the deceptive sales practices from any sales manager, like that 1st young bearded sales manager at Sun Toyota! You just lost a loyal customer Sun Toyota because of your sales-manager! I will NEVER return to Sun Toyota! More

This was the 2nd dealership I went to today looking for a 4x4 low miles truck. Carlos was kind, gracious and applied zero pressure for the sale. I bought my 2017 Toyota Corolla from this dealership in April 2017. My loan paid off over a year and the dealership has want to make me on offer for my Corolla, Carlos went over and beyond for my husband a April 2017. My loan paid off over a year and the dealership has want to make me on offer for my Corolla, Carlos went over and beyond for my husband and I. I was a new car but I am employee of a competitors Finance company, I was use my employee discount to buy another vehicle. This is cash sale I have no loan. I has all my paperwork got a fair price for my Corolla. There was a snag as lot a times in car business, Carlos could sent us out and we taken out car back. Carlos went out of his way nothing to gain financially to get us our check that day. I worked for over 19 years in the Car Finance industry and in my career dealt with a lot of dealerships and their employees. I rarely write a review. I Would have given more than 5 stars because Carlos serviced his customer even though no incentive except customer satisfaction to do so. Thank you Carlos going over and beyond for it very rare to do so. More

I’m satisfied with my purchase from Sun Toyota and had a pleasant experience with them. I went to multiple dealers in area with interest of the same car I viewed at Sun Toyota before continuing to see optio pleasant experience with them. I went to multiple dealers in area with interest of the same car I viewed at Sun Toyota before continuing to see options elsewhere and I realized that they were very different from most place's from Brooksville to Clearwater so if your coming from far there definitely worth the drive. Definitely can see my next vehicle being purchased there..Thanks again More

This dealer sold me a vehicle with defective tires and promise to furnish a a second key to the vehicle. I scheduled an appointment for 2 weeks out because they couldn’t get me in any sooner. Meanwhile I could not exceed 45mph due to the defective tires. After 8 hours of waiting at the dealer they replaced the tires but not before arguing about payment for both the tires and the spare key. Please avoid this dealer More
