No hard sell, no mind games, no trickery. Because of the distance, I conducted all of the preliminaries and negotiations via email. My sales rep, Candice, was aboveboard, forthcoming, and professional during the entire process. She responded quickly to my questions and provided plenty of follow up detail, including a video that highlighted not only the vehicle’s selling points but also its flaws. That sort of up-front honesty made me willing to continue the conversation and risk the 3-hour drive to complete the purchase. I’ve had bad experiences with car dealers in the past, so I was fully prepared for a few “surprises” once I showed up in person. As it turns out, the only surprise was how well Metro had detailed the car. The car was immaculate, including very skillful removal of two minor dings/dents that Candice had disclosed in her video. During my time on site, Candice was helpful, professional, and genuine. She was a pleasure to work with. After I finished my inspection and test drive, the transaction was painless. Yes, the sales manager offered me an extended warranty, but there was no pressure when I politely declined. Such a refreshing contrast to my last car buying experience at a dealership in Columbus whose name rhymes with “liars.” Candice, you’re a class act, and so is Metro Lexus. More
