Candace was friendly and very knowledgable. Probably the best experience I've had with a car sales person. Was able to assess our interests and requirements. Very forthright and to the point. Tom Barr was also a pleasure to do business with and was very helpful even with information unrelated to the sale (i.e. helped finding contacts to clear up the erroneous information from the credit bureaus alluding to my death). In my particular case I was involved with candace chelist. Very friendly salesperson, made you feel good and seem to be truly honest, which I believe is very important in the auto sales industry. But I believe the no hassle was far important for me too. There was no hagggling back and forth on price, I knew my price range and I believed they (sales manager and candace) knew what they wanted for the vehicle, Sorry, I don't recall sales managers name. Finance manager Peter Sargent, also made things so quick, easy and very explanative about the financing. All in all very pleasant experience, would definitely reccommend dealership to others. We came in on a Wednesday and she showed us a vehicle in the showroon as it was a windy cold day that day. She answered our questions and was professional and not at all "pushy." Oh, we did test drive it as well. She called 2 days later to say it had been reduced $2,000! I had thought about it and wanted to speak with her further! I went over later in the morning and bought it! She was great. It was neat to work with a female in making the purchase of the vehicle! I intend to call her with any questions or issues I may have. My daughter and I were looking for a newer used car for her. After much searching on-line she discovered the Chrysler Pacifica at Mungenast Honda in our price range. We arrived very late one afernoon to te her. After much searching on-line she discovered the Chrysler Pacifica at Mungenast Honda in our price range. We arrived very late one afernoon to test drive this car and had a very nice experience with Candace Chelist. After the test drive and some discussion with my daughter we decided this was the car for her. Candace then walked us very patiently through the process - she offered me financing options and monthly costs as options to the financing I had already arranged. It was to her advantage to do so because I actually got a better deal and felt better about the payment I was soon to take on. When we arranged to pick up the car Candace was on hand to make sure it went smoothly and we did not have any questions or concerns. Afer meeting with Peter to sign the paperwork she made sure our old license plates were removed from our trade-in and the new plates were installed on the "new" car. All in all it was a fairly painless process with Candace's help. More

I visited several dealerships before I went to St Louis Honda. Had I started at st Louis Honda I wouldn't have gone anywhere else. Candace was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is extremely knowledgable about the products she sells and she made the process of buying a car very smooth. Candace asked how she could help me. She focused on my needs and my questions. She was direct and answered them honestly and quickly. I was in a hurry having already obtained pricing from other dealersh needs and my questions. She was direct and answered them honestly and quickly. I was in a hurry having already obtained pricing from other dealerships and expecting out of town guests. I advised Candace of my circumstances and she quickly provided answers to my questions and obtained her dealership's best pricing and offered it to me along with her card. There was no pressure, no haggling, no what do I have to do to sell you a car today, no you must test drive the car today before I can share that information with you. I got the information I asked for the first time. I did not have to drag it out of Candace or deal with 2 or 3 people to get the information. I obtained the information I wanted and I got it straight from her and she was 100% honest. The pricing was about the same, but St. Louis Honda was offering a 2011 model instead of a 2010. St. Louis Honda was also offering 0% financing for 60 months and the other dealers were not. Candace also explained the price included certain fees and extra equipment that other dealers charged as extra costs. I checked with the other dealerships and she was correct. Candace also explained the deal was good for any 2011 Honda LX as they all had similar equipment, so we would not have to settle for a color that was left on the lot. We could pick the color we wanted. I spoke to my wife, explained the details and we agreed we would buy the car from Candace. I called Candace and alerted her that we would be coming in the next day to buy the car and that we wanted to buy only from her. She asked us to go to the new car dealership and either call her or have her paged and she would take care of us, but she warned us that Saturdays were very busy at St. Louis Honda and we might have to wait a few minutes for her. I assured her we would wait for her. When we arrived on Saturday the dealership was very busy and several sales representatives tried to "poach" Candace's sale. (She was test driving a car with someone when we arrived.) We were patient and rewarded by Candace again focusing on our questions and needs. She went with us on the test drive, explained where everyting was. Wrote up the paperwork and helped us complete the forms which she submitted to Mr. Cash, who arranged the financing. Candace checked the status for us while we waited and let us know we were approved but needed to wait for Mr. Cash to finish with another customer. She offered us some refreshments while we waited and arranged for the car to be readied for delivery. After we finished with Mr. Cash, Candace met us and escorted us to the car and asked us to call with any questions or concerns and thanked us for giving her the opportunity to help us. Later she called to make certain everything was ok with the car. I told her I had already recommended her to a friend who said he was interested in the same make and model car. She thanked us again and said she looked forward to hearing from our friend. Our friend did buy from Candace. She quickly called back to thank us for the referral and to let us know we would be getting a gift from the dealership for making the referral. Again she focused on us and our needs and the information we wanted. We rewarded her with our sale by waiting for her. We were rewarded for our loyalty by her focus on us during the sales process. We thanked her with a referral and she thought enough of us to call back and thank us for the referral. I treat people the way they treat me and I would recommend Candace to anyone. More

Recently I went shopping for a car and took a look at a couple of dealerships off of the South Lindbergh area. After visiting a couple of dealerships I was rather upset with what I had seen. One place did not have a single salesperson ask if I needed anything in the 15 minutes I was walking their lot....and they didn't even have prices on their cars. At another dealer I was contacted by a salesman that was just trying to push me into cars I didn't want. Then I saw Mungenast Honda's used lot. I was immediately greeted by Craig and it was like I was looking at cars with one of my friends all the sudden. He knew that he didn't have what I was looking for but mentioned that I should take a look at the 09 Civic Si in the showroom. It wasn't what I was looking for but since he was friendly I decided to take a look. Once I took a look it I was impressed and added it to my list of cars to look at. After a day or two of research I decided this was the car. Negotiation and signing of the paperwork literally took less than 20 minutes and the salespeople at Honda were refreshing to deal with....they made things easy and it seems that they still care about their sales as they've been checking up with me lately to make sure that I'm satisfied. I would definitely recommend Mungenast Honda to friends and family. More

Fantastic experience working with Candace to find the car that really fit what I needed. Then once we had the right car, they were able to get it down to the right price without any "tricks" or hidden costs that really fit what I needed.
