I took my 2018 Wrangler JL in for service due to a perplexing electrical problem. I took it on July 8th, and I left with it on July 15th, the 8th day after. So I got a call yesterday saying they may h perplexing electrical problem. I took it on July 8th, and I left with it on July 15th, the 8th day after. So I got a call yesterday saying they may have it fixed, but they needed a test drive to confirm. I got a ride to go get it, and halfway there, I got a call that said they took it for a test drive, and the errors came back, so it's not fixed. It's been there a week for crying out loud. In that week, I got a text that said my Jeep was in demand and they would buy it from me. So I went in to see what they had in mind. They offered me $12K for a 2018 Wrangler JL Unlimited 4 dr. -w- 77,000 mi. That wasn't going to happen. They came back with $14K-$14.5K as a trade-in value. I would have gone for $17K trade-in on a Jeep Gladiator, but that didn't happen either. I just came to get my Jeep repaired, not to get robbed on a used car deal. When I asked them what the service costs were at this point they told me $215 which tells me the only thing they did was run a diagnostic and that's it, yet all week, when they called me or I called them for progress, they would lead me to believe they were pouring over it to get it solved. xx, they ran a diagnostic and let it sit for a week so they could leverage a potentially costly repair toward a used/new sale, to which they low-balled me for trade-in. Why would I buy a car from a dealership that cannot repair my vehicle? I must say everybody was nice, polite, good-looking, and even fit. Canaan was a likable fellow, but his sales coworker was less than equitable. When I realized I wasn't going to get served here, and that to buy from them would mean being robbed, I paid the service bill and towed it to another repair facility.
