Mrs. Gallian, per our conversation...the Sienna van was at a Walmart location for an oil change and the tech at Walmart stated that they couldn't remove the filter. You were concerned that the filter was stripped and called the dealership for assistance. The receptionist answered and told you that we would take care of it based on any error on our part. When the Sienna was pulled into the shop, the technician here removed the filter with his oil wrench. The oil filter was tight, but not stripped or damaged. The tech ordered the appropriate Toyota oil filter to be delivered to the dealership and then the tech completed the oil change for you. Upon checkout you were charged $68 for a Synthetic oil change and your husband asked why it wasnt free. It wasn't free because there was no error on Lake Norman Hyundai's part. I asked how much the Walmart oil change would have been and you stated $60. I offered to refund you the difference of the Walmart oil change as Goodwill and you explained that you were 45 minutes away. If our tech had stripped your filter as you implied of course we would have changed the oil and filter out for free. We simply agreed to match the Walmart oil change price since there was no issue with the oil Filter.

Mrs. Brewton, you Mother did bring the car in for us to inspect and the brakes are new and the vehicle is in great shape except for the rodent wire damage. We have made repairs for the disconnected wires, but recommended that Mrs. Sims file a physical damage claim with progressive for the rodent damage and have the front harness replaced. Mrs. Sim met with me personally and I showed her the rodent damage and inspected the brake pads. Cam Stewart-Owner
