I told them that I’d pay in full, cashiers check, if they could give me the truck at MSRP. They said they would. I got down there and they said MSRP was $157,000 because they added a dealer “addendum” or markup to the MSRP. Newsflash, MSRP is manufacturer’s suggested retail price and does not include dealer markups or addendums. So they also lied to me and treated me like I was a gullible idiot who is willing to throw away my money. Their sales motto is, “A fool and his money are soon departed.” They treated me like I was a complete financial idiot. Yes, I understand that the Raptor R is in very high demand and low production, and therefore it’s fetching a premium price. And I understand that financially illiterate morons will pay that price. They certainly treated me like a financially, illiterate moron! They thought they could take my money. I walked away. Don’t go to Chapman. More
