BEWARE of Golf Mill Ford in Niles, IL. On March 25, 2025, I bought a used Ford Transit after being shown another one that broke down during the test drive. They quickly pushed me into a s On March 25, 2025, I bought a used Ford Transit after being shown another one that broke down during the test drive. They quickly pushed me into a similar van, claiming it passed all dealer inspections. Days later, I drove it again and heard screeching from all four wheels. A mechanic confirmed over $3,000 in wheel bearing damage. Soon after, the engine belt started squealing — turns out it had been sprayed with a lubricant to temporarily hide the issue. When I contacted the dealership, they said “too bad, it was sold as-is.” Then managers told me I “got a good deal anyway.” Later, they changed their story again — calling it “as-is parts” and saying their own inspections meant nothing. This wasn’t an honest mistake. The dealer knew about these issues. The Carfax even shows they inspected the belts right before the sale. Yet none of this was disclosed. I expected honesty from a big dealership. Instead, I feel scammed. I’m now stuck with thousands in unexpected repairs. Avoid this place and any dealer tied to Gus Kreatsoulas. They’re not looking out for the customer — just trying to move damaged inventory. More
