I am originally from the West Coast but I have lived in Fargo for long enough to be "from here". I graduated from Concordia College in 2018 and am currently going to school for my master's degree in Public Administration. I am an animal lover with 4 dogs and a mother to 3 beautiful children. I made the attempt to try to buy from Mike at Corwin, which turned into a giant cluster. Mike didn’t seem concerned about anything other than closing the deal - very old school type of salesman. Didn’t care about what I was looking for, just was pushing to get it through. Trying to get payment numbers was almost impossible without calling repeatedly, and even then, I spoke with other staff who had no clue what was going on. I applaud the used car manager for trying to rescue the deal, but I chose to work with a different dealership. The overall process was very frustrating, and Mike along with Corwin needs to reevaluate their processes and focus on the customer needs. Corwin’s vehicle was my #1 choice, and I was ready to buy, but the service I received was terrible. More

Always hear good things about Corwin. The dealership did not seem receptive to lowering the price much. Although I found KBB, NADA, and Carfax values to be 15 to 20 percent lower than wha The dealership did not seem receptive to lowering the price much. Although I found KBB, NADA, and Carfax values to be 15 to 20 percent lower than what they were asking, Corwin seemed to want to stick to a value given on their listing which may have been inflated. The sales associate was helpful and courteous but the sales manager would not budge. I first checked in house financing and they were only able to get 3 offers and the lowest at 10% interest which is ridiculous. My credit is very good so that was not the issue. The finance manager seemed condescending. This vehicle was very clean and well maintained compared to other vehicles of similar price (at Corwin and other dealers) so I did purchase with financing at my own bank based on a larger down payment and agreeing to 48 mos. I later received letters from about 5-6 lenders from their in house financing turning me down based on the value being much lower than asking price. I attribute part of this to current market. However despite a good shopping experience, at the end of the day I feel like I received a poor deal. More
