My daughter and I recently purchased a 2011 Honda Civic. She is taking the car to college in California. Based on Mohawk Honda's reputation, we wanted the car serviced there. Glad we did! Not only did we get special attention (just like all the other customers), I was fortunate to have Brian Peters as our service advisor and Ryan Lavoo as our Master Tech. Brian addressed all my concerns and requests, even one I added after the car was in the service bay. He made sure the work would get addressed. Ryan Lavoo did all the work superbly and made sure the Honda was all set for my daughter's long trip! What a great experience. I highly recommend the "Brian and Ryan team"! I happily did a rating recently but I omitted one person who was very helpful. He was Todd Brandt - Delivery Specialist. He sat with me and explained all the interior functions. He was very patient because I asked him to repeat things “Many” times for me because I am hard of hearing. He was excellent. A fine young man who should be a salesperson! He would be excellent. I went to the service department on Saturday for an oil change and tire rotation. The service associate was very helpful and explained everything to me. I ended up not needing the tire rotation but i did n change and tire rotation. The service associate was very helpful and explained everything to me. I ended up not needing the tire rotation but i did need two other thingss taken care of. Mohawk Honda has amazing customer service.! While in the waiting room, Mark Ellis, saw my son and I sitting and came over and checked to see how everything was going! More

Air conditioner disaster I love my first Honda- a 2017 Civic and my air conditioner quit as in no cold air whatsoever. I brought the car in , knowing that there was a condens I love my first Honda- a 2017 Civic and my air conditioner quit as in no cold air whatsoever. I brought the car in , knowing that there was a condenser recall in November. The car was found to have a condenser leak but ALSO a compressor leak!! and the cost for fixing the compressor was possibly 1200 dollars-- for a three year old car with 16,900 miles on it in superior condition and I mean superior. The car looks brand new. Brian Peters stated that he would call Honda and see about a warentee since the car was only 29 days over the three year limit. He called and told me the entire problem would be 100 percent covered-- music to my very upset ears. I had already begun to consider fixing the Honda and then getting a subaru. Now I am glad I don't have to do that as I am please this was FAIR and proper treatment. Thanks to Brian and thanks to Honda More

Car Service We took our vehicle to Mohawk Honda due to a warning light re: gas fuel gage. Come to find out chipmunks had eaten the wires. This was going to be a We took our vehicle to Mohawk Honda due to a warning light re: gas fuel gage. Come to find out chipmunks had eaten the wires. This was going to be an expensive repair and also leaving us without a car for 2-4 days. Brian Peters assisted us with a rental car as well as completing the repairs sooner than expected. He also explained 75% of these claims are picked up by insurance. I told Brian I called the insurance company earlier that day and they told me "animal issues" were not be covered. He encouraged me to contact them again and within 24 hours the claim was filed and we received our money. Brian kept in contact with us as each step transpired. Many thanks to Brian Peters and the other employees of Mohawk Honda Service Department for going above and beyond! More

Very nice tried his best to find me the right car Didn’t give up started from the bottom and basic cars found an interest and gained all the knowledge he could. Great resolution to an unfortunate issue I love my 2012 Honda Pilot and my plan was to hang on to it for as long as possible, I have 90,000+ miles on my Pilot and have had no significant pr I love my 2012 Honda Pilot and my plan was to hang on to it for as long as possible, I have 90,000+ miles on my Pilot and have had no significant problems. The car is comfortable and I always drive to Florida for our winter retreat. While there this year my Pilot displayed check engine light and several other warning lights came on. Brought the car to a Honda dealer in Sarasota, FL and I was told that there was oil fouling the # 1 sparkplug and the issue was covered by a warranty extension campaign. They were unable to do a complete repair but made a temporary repair so that I could get back home to Schenectady NY. I went to Mohawk Honda to have the necessary repairs completed. I spoke with the service manager, Lisa Valentino about the issue and Lisa was very knowledgeable about the issue and very helpful. Lisa set up an appointment for me to have the repairs made and arranged to have me use a courtesy vehicle at no cost. I was impressed! When I brought the car in for the work I spoke to service advisor Brian Peters. Brian was very accomodating and explained the repairs that were to be performed in detail. Brian was great at communicating information about the repairs and made helpful suggestions that allowed me to make informed decisons on a few addtional repairs that he offered. (timing belt/water pump/serpentine belt) They were all scheduled in the foreseeable future and Brian suggested that I may want to consider the repairs now to save on labor costs. I had the extra work completed and was happy to have been presented with the option. Brian and Lisa were very accommodating, great communicators and a pleasure to work with. More
