But this time they disappointed me. Had my car two and half weeks! Car was towed in and James called me to tell me they couldn’t get to it that day. Told him, fine but I needed it by Tuesday of the following week cause going on vacation. He told me it wouldn’t be a problem. Everytime I called to check on it I was told I didn’t have an appointment so everything came before me. I was still hearing this excuse on the morning I was to leave for vacation. At what point does your vehicle that has been towed in get put on the appointment list??? NOT HAPPY! I have been a loyal customer since 2013 but I guess that doesn’t matter!

Brought my car in May 2023 with complaints of a knocking

Was informed that there was a current recall on my 2019 Kia Forte ENGINE. Was not informed of this before. Was informed that it would be AT LEAST 60-90 days before I could even be told what was wrong with my vehicle. In that time, I was requested to provide this dealership with documentation “proving” that I had been taking care of the car (getting oil changes) because I was “missing two services in their system.” After letting them know that I had taken my car to be serviced at private repair shops and did not have the paperwork they were requesting, they informed me that they would have to take my entire engine apart (implying I was at fault). Upon dismantling the entire engine, dealership found that I, in fact, WAS NOT at fault and was given a faulty engine that WAS covered under factory recall. I received my car back in early August 2023. I am now here two weeks later, because my check is engine light is BACK ON. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. 0/10. Would not recommend.

Before we chat and reviewing this information in your review, I can offer the following response to your concerns.
Unfortunately, when it comes to recalls and warranty extensions from the manufacturer, we must follow their rules and guidelines for qualification. If the advisor requested additional information, it was only because Kia was requesting the information to determine coverage. In this case (again I do not have your record pulled I'm just going by your review) Kia wanted to determine the point of failure. When it comes to recalls and warranty related repairs it is Kia's money not that of Kia AutoSport. We are required to provide information on the client's behalf, and they are the ones that make the decision. Trust me if we could make it easier for you and us that would be great, but we have to follow the guidelines and request Kia corporate makes of us. I'm glad we were able to get it covered by the warranty extension and thank you for your patience while we worked with Kia to determine eligibility. I'm sorry that it took so long and to hear your check engine light is on. We can certainly check the vehicle and if it's anything related to the repairs or the warranty extension it will certainly be covered.
