Whatever happened to honesty and full disclosure and taking care of the customer. Do not get suckered into a warranty. I bought a 2022 Toyota Tacoma a little over a year ago. The finance person highly p taking care of the customer. Do not get suckered into a warranty. I bought a 2022 Toyota Tacoma a little over a year ago. The finance person highly pressured us to get the warranty by asking us about 5 times. I should have just walked away without purchasing a vehicle. I came in April to cancel the warranty and they took me to Chris in finance. DO NOT talk to finance. They will lose commission so they won’t really help you!! Chris filled out paperwork online and sent it in saying it would go to the lienholder and it would take a couple weeks for it to show up on our loan. I sold the truck in early July and had the lien released and noticed that it wasn’t sent to them. I came in to the dealer and spoke with finance and they acted like it was the warranty companies fault and that he was emailing them NOTHING AGAIN. I came in to Jim Norton again and my wife was with me. We talked to Vincent. He filled out the paperwork and canceled it again. This time I made sure to get the paperwork. There was a paragraph at the top that says “Please note this contract has not yet been canceled. After obtaining a quote, required documentation may be uploaded…. Another reason the warranty company hasn’t even received the cancellation. If you want to cancel you need to contact the business office manager and the warranty company which for us is iA American Warranty group. They told us that the dealer is responsible for all refunds which is another reason it is hard to cancel a warranty because it comes out of their pockets. Todd Baker is the finance director. He has yet to return a call to us. I think the strategy here is to make it as difficult as possible to cancel so they don’t have to pay you back anything. More

We bought a 2022 Toyota Tacoma last summer. During the financing of the vehicle we were offered the warranty. We declined numerous times and finally were bullied into one. We were told that it was easy to cancel but to give it a year. My son purchased a car at the Jim Norton Chevy dealership and bought the warranty. He had issues with the car before he could get it tagged. None of the issues were covered by the so called bumper to bumper warranty. That is when I came in and spoke to Chris and he said he canceled the warranty on my Tacoma. I have still not been reimbursed for the over $1900 I was told would be applied to my loan. I have spoken to Chris initially and Brant over the phone and in person and was promised they would get me reimbursed. I have tried calling numerous times for them but have never had a phone call returned. I’m frustrated that I was basically forced into a warranty and now I am bullied into not getting reimbursed for it even though I sold the truck. More

I couldn’t have picked a better dealership to get my car. Matthew was extremely helpful and friendly and he felt genuine, unlike just about every other car salesman I’ve met. He was the first person to greet me and then referred me to Jose, who was also extremely friendly and helpful. The only negative experience was with the finance manager. I did not like his tactics in trying to sell the extended warranty. Trying to shame customers is not the best way to sell these products. He was friendly on the outside but also seemed fake and a little bit evasive. The tactic of trying to shame or scare me into purchase was beyond anything I have seen when purchasing a vehicle. More
