I would not trust the work without double checking because the shop may not have all the right supplies. I have had to go back over the work and use proper supplies to “fix” their work. I have had to fix things that the dealer mechanic was unprepared to fix. Since a tube was too loose on the windshield washer pump, the dealer mechanic used a wire tie. That leaked. He didn’t have a prope unprepared to fix. Since a tube was too loose on the windshield washer pump, the dealer mechanic used a wire tie. That leaked. He didn’t have a proper hose clamp, I put a hose clamp on it and now it doesn’t leak. There are some fasteners that had to be popped out to access under the cowling to fix a leak in the windshield washer. The dealer mechanic did not have replacement fasteners so again he used a wire tie. I have ordered replacement fasteners and should get them by Friday. A DEALER mechanic should have proper supplies. He tried but he didn’t have proper supplies. It’s not the mechanic’s fault, it’s the dealership/management that is to blame. More
