Brandon was very helpful. Although the vehicle I drove up to test drive had sold, he was able to help me find a different vehicle within my budget. My wife and I were a bit frustrated by the dealership because we were under the impression that we were going to be able to take our vehicle home when we paid for it the following Wednesday. It was never clearly communicated to us that the vehicle was still being serviced, so we drove an hours up and back with no secondary vehicle. Prior to the sale, I asked to make sure the passenger side sliding door was working properly. After service replaced the sliding door motor we still are having trouble with our passenger side sliding door closing on the first try. I was also disappointed with the detail department because of how mediocre their detail job was. I've had my cars detailed much more thoroughly privately. More

BUYER BEWARE ! !! STAY AWAY FROM BRANDON COOPER!!!!! I recently purchased a vehicle from Gates of Granger and the whole shopping experience was very hostile and I f !! STAY AWAY FROM BRANDON COOPER!!!!! I recently purchased a vehicle from Gates of Granger and the whole shopping experience was very hostile and I felt like I was more of an inconvenience than a customer. I had a car in mind already and the deciding factor for me was price. Once i told Brandon this, he became very visibly annoyed. He then replied snarkily " do you not like our pricing ?". I had informed him that it was a good price; which is what got my attention but that there was another car with less miles, one year newer for about 3k less a few hours up the road and that I was willing to make the trip to save the money and get a newer car with less miles. After back and forth talk we agreed on a price and the car was purchased. The next day, I opened the center console to find that there was a lock box with a 4 digit combo installed . I had called Brandon back and informed him of this and asked if they knew about this and if so, did they happen to have the combo. He told me it was a Toyota factory option and that they would contact Toyota directly to see what they could do. I thanked him and requested he call me back with an update but never heard back. I had to continue to call in to get updated. After about a week of calling, they finally told me I had two options: to get a new core for the lock or get a lock smith to unlock it; the latter of which being cheaper. Given their prior knowledge of this lock box and failure to disclose it, I didn't believe this issue was entirely on me to resolve. While I do acknowledge I missed this during the initial inspection, this does pose a safety feature as no one knows what could have been in the locked box of my new car. Brandon disagreed and explained that had I not " beat him up " on the price he'd be more willing to work with me. I questioned what it mattered if we had already agreed on a price. To which he replied " I'd be more inclined to help if I didn't lose money on this". I reminded him it was only a few hundred dollars that we knocked off the price tag. He proceeded to tell me to take those few hundred dollars and get this fixed myself. I was appalled with his response as I do not expect this to be how someone handles this situation nor speaks to a customer. Ultimately, the service manager stepped in and helped resolve this issue & I thank Chris so much for helping me actually resolve this. I think that the dealership does try to do business the right way but Brandon is ONLY looking out for himself and " his money " More

Brandon Cooper did a great job listening to what we were looking for in a vehicle for our daughter's first car. He was honest about what Gates offers and our benefits with all.
