Steven and Chris in sales were AWESOME! Bobby in finance, however, was a complete tool. He was rude, condescending and unprofessional. I have never experienced a more kaotic vehicle purchase in my 70 year life. It was just excruciating. The vehicle upon first viewing was pretty good. I purchased after nearly two hours back and fourth over in my 70 year life. It was just excruciating. The vehicle upon first viewing was pretty good. I purchased after nearly two hours back and fourth over a sales offer full of ridiculous line item charges that were basically negotiated to zero. I signed the purchase agreement and proceeded to travel 40 miles home, when the car was smoking inside the cab. It smelled like the parking brake was on. It definitely was a stuck caliper or a brake problem. I pulled over twice on two separate interstates to get rid of the smell in the cab. I finally got home and the brakes were very hot. Next morning I sent the truck back on a flat bed. Terrible Communication with a staff that is not organized. Had a heck of a time getting through an automated phone system while being disconnected constantly. According to them, they did an inspection and released the truck back to me with some minor repair effort. They stated that I must come and pick it up. I stated that I was 40 miles away. No one seem to care. So I called AAA and they agreed to pick it up and bring it to me. I called the Service Advisor and my Sales person and advised them AAA would pick up in 30 minutes. AAA showed up to sevice and could find the vehicle. They were there and hour and notified me three hours later they left without the truck. I called and finally last night I got my vehicle back. Test driving today. More

The car was dirty at delivery, had to complain for the Sales manager to detail car. Once I paid for the vehicle the staff completely ignored us. I would not purchase another Vehicle from this dealership. Sales manager to detail car. Once I paid for the vehicle the staff completely ignored us. What a nightmare of an experience purchasing a car at Jerry Ulm. I have never felt more duped or taken advantage of in all my years of purchasing cars. The finance process was deceptive and outright inti Jerry Ulm. I have never felt more duped or taken advantage of in all my years of purchasing cars. The finance process was deceptive and outright intimidating and one that any respectable dealer should be ashamed of. Once you purchase the vehicle, there is no followup on the part of anybody you worked with. I purchased my vehicle a month ago and am still waiting on help with the Lojack account that I paid for with the vehicle-it appears the dealsership never sent my information to Lojack so I cannot create an account with them. I have sent a message to the GM, Joey Falcon, and he cant be bothered to respond back to me or offer any assistance at all. Very obvious he downright does not care. There are so many complaints regarding this purchase, but the very worst of my complaints is the fact that I owned the vehicle for two weeks before I had to bring it in for service for a very serious safety issue. While driving, the vehicle will turn itself off, all of the gears will begin flashing and a message will pop up on the display that the driver should shift the car to P. Even when the car is then shifted into P, you then have to turn the car off and back on to get the engine to kick back on. This happened to me twice in the two weeks I owned the car before I took it to the dealership for service. Service has now driven my vehicle over 100 miles and because they havent yet witnessed the safety issue themselves, they say there is nothing they can do to fix it. I am 6 months pregnant and received the call today to come pick up my brand new car because there is nothing they can do to ensure this doesnt happen again. A quick google search will show you that this is not a rare occurrence and actually is a known problem with Jeep and Wagoneers, among many other known problems. Shame on me for not doing adequate research before purchasing the car but absolute shame on the dealership and manufacturer for continuing to sell these cars without a fix. I have spoken with many managers from different departments while my car has been in the shop for two weeks. A 'star case' was opened with the manufacturer which is where an issue is punted to the manufacturer if the dealership cannot figure it out themselves. The manufacturer suggestion was to continue to put miles on this new vehicle and road test until the problem happened to one of the techs. Neither dealership or manufacturer are willing to help in any way. Will not even do the right thing of switching to a different Wagoneer in case mine is a lemon. I will be filing complaints with the FTC, Better Business Bureau, State Attorney General office, etc. Shame on this dealership. Imagine if this safety issue happens again and in turn it causes an accident this time. Then what???? More
