This was the nicest car purchase in my life. Bill (Williamson) was very helpful, and moved things along quickly. No pressure, helpful advice, no tricks. You can tell this was not the first vehicle that Bill sold. Facility is nice and clean. Interestingly, they are celebrating 50 years at this location (opened in 1974 -- incidentally, the year I was born). My son purchased a vehicle from McGee Toyota and was taken advantage of with his trade in. “Big Time”. He was told by his salesman Bill Williamson that they were going to pay off his existing car loan o taken advantage of with his trade in. “Big Time”. He was told by his salesman Bill Williamson that they were going to pay off his existing car loan of $27,100.00. They initially offered him $23,000 as a trade in and he refused their offer. The Kelly Blue Book Value for his 2021 Jeep Wrangler was roughly around $29,000 to $30,000. Come to find out he was only given the original trade in offer of $23,000.00, when he purchased his new Toyota Tacoma truck. He paid an additional $5,000.00 down thinking it was going towards the purchase of the truck but it went towards paying off the remaining balance of his existing Jeep loan. When I went to McGee today to speak to them about the discrepancy of the trade in amount on the Jeep they basically said too bad your son signed the papers what do you want us to do about it. I explained that my son thought he was signing the paper for the trade in offer of 27,100.00, not the trade in of $23,000.00. Who in their right mind would agree to take less for a trade in than what you owed on your loan. It gets better at the time of my son purchasing the new truck they told him that his Jeep needed new tires, brakes and that they had to fix the dent on his front bumper and that is why they were only giving him a trade in of $27,100.00. The funny thing is they have his Jeep that he traded in on their website listed for $37,000 and haven’t replaced anything. It still has the dented bumper, same tires and same brakes. I feel as though they took advantage of a young kid and don’t care. If I could give them zero stars I would. Stay clear of this place unless you want to get ripped off! More
